Sorry, thought you said the regular GH stuff. I was not aware that they made a GO ph adjuster. On the website they claim that you never need to adjust the pH with the GO nutes, but I prefer to to do it anyway (with Earth Juice crystals).

yep, its actually a bright orange liquid, resembles that orange drink they have at mc donalds..dont think i wanna drink it, though ive been tempted. haha

PHD95_1.jpghere it is

Yeah, that looks like the chemical stuff: http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/products/maintenance/ph_buffers/

If you drink it, you will be having a very bad day.:D GH says not to use it with organics as it's toxic to microorganisms. The Earth Juice is the only organic adjuster that I could find locally, but I think there are some others. Baking soda can be used as pH up, but I've read that it's not much better for the microherd, not to mention you're constantly adding salts to the soil.

crap..my tap water is coming out at 8.3. what do you recommend..should i look up the stuff your using?

hahaha and i was just joking about the drinking it part..its just that stuff at mc D's is sooo good!

I just read and it says nothing about not using it with organic nutes, in fact it also states that its "certified organic" -whatever that may mean

Taking pH downward is fairly easy. You could use something like apple cider vinegar for now, but once you start using nutes you shouldn't need to lower your pH again. When I add BioThrive Grow and BioMarine to my water, it ends up just below 5 so I have to raise it. I wanted to have something reliable on hand all the time, so I bought the Earth Juice stuff. Your local shop might have some other options for organic pH adjustment.
