Harvest & Curing Odor control!

Hello! when my TD plants are ready to be chopped and dried I'm thinking of drying them in a cardboard box with a PC fan as a exhaust fan with dryer sheet over the fan and was thinking of getting a ONA block in the same room but it says not to put a ona block in the grow room, but the weed is going to be drying in the box. What do you guys think ?

If someone can help me that would be great

I do the same thing all the time but i just spray fragrances 2-3 times a day its a ball ache but its only for 4-5 days each harvest lol also make sure your heating isnt on for too long because it makes the smell stronger and i leave a window open very slightly for some fresh air also helps with the lingering smell not sure about the ona blocks not used them but there is a spray version ive seen:group:

Yeah I'll give that ago! 4-5 days :jaw: ? I thought it would take 2 weeks to dry out nicely, so if they where dry enough after 4-5 days can I start to cure them ?

You can leave the ona block in the room the buds are in. I've never had any problems with ona.

Yep, when they are dry enough for the jar, the cure begins.

Right okay sound I was just a bit thing becuase on Ebay it says not to put it in with you fruits as it can contaminate them but I have heard a lot of people say that they have had no problems! I'll take your word for it!

How could you tell when they are dry enough to go into jars? when the stem snaps ?

I personally do the stem snap test. Bend the stem til it just slightly snaps, then straight into jars for the cure. Hasn't let me down yet. Even if you jar it up slightly before the stem is at the snapping point is ok as long as you burp the jars on a regular basis so the humidity doesn't build up too much. At least this has been my experience.
