Nutrient feeding.

Hello, I have 3 autoflowers going and tomorrow will be day 28. They are showing their pistils now. I purchased the General Hydo Flora series nutes. Should I mix this at half the recommended strength that the bottle suggests ? Also should I use it at every time I water or alternate every other time I water.. Thanks so much for any help.

I never used the GHF nutes but if I have 3 plants, why not use one as a guinea pig to determine what works best. Personally, I'm very conservative and never follow bottle directions...I'd start with a 10-20% dose...and let the plant telegraph whats up...I only feed every watering when in heavy flower...easy to figure with 3 plants if you have patience...take pics to actually determine differences.

They look good so far. GH is generally safe to start at 50% of the charts. Go up 10% each week until you see a little bit of tip burn then back off 10%. Be sure to use balanced nutrients by that I mean if you are using 50% then it is 50% of Micro, 50% of Gro, 50% of Bloom, 50% of Rapid Start, 50% of Kool Bloom and 50% of Floralicious Plus in the Simple Program.

I'm using these now, plants LOVE EM. Yes i advise use the Growweedeasy chart pursuant to your medium (soil or hydro) which is approximately half. Then dial up to the General Hydro full chart after a couple weeks of positive response. Flush with water every 3 days per the chart, DO THIS or you can get lockout. Dealt with it twice already because i feed feed feed. ..

As others have said, start at 50% and work your way up. I did that with my autos in coco on my first grow and backed off when I saw signs of nutrient burn.

In RDWC, I run 100% and it hasn't seemed to phase the one auto that I have amongst three photos, but I don't know that that translates to soil/coco.
