Indoor Now running: Northern Lights auto, Blueberry auto

Don't be disappointed buddy. It's a learning game ;)

I saw this Bedrocan production PR video and thought someone here might like it. I don't have any affiliation or whatever. It shows some of the methods used by a company producing medical cannabis in the Netherlands. I live a couple of towns over from their grow facility. The video is 3 and a half minutes

Groetjes dudes dropping in with another weekly update on PKXL, now at the end of week 5 of flower :smokeit:

She continues her flowering undisturbed, I only need to check in once a day to see how she is and vacuum up two or three flies from the closet. It's a shame about her size but she has smelled so awesome throughout - since veg even - so I'm looking forward to the smoke. Lemony hazey kind of smell, more pronounced by the day. If I grew her better I think this would be a great strain.

And I've been online shopping, picked up some simple LED light fixtures and a nice little fan. I'll set up a separate veg room to allow for more frequent harvesting and hopefully some propagation. Once that space is good we'll get Think Different running right away!

Have a nice smoke this weekend dudes :jointman:

With your lights, you need as much leaves for photosynthesis as possible with out impeding air flow. If you have exhaust, the fresh air will find it's way in the some way.
Try to save up for a real grow light for the space you have. For the same money, you could have bought a small Mars Hydro light.

Cheers Wildbill, you're spot on about these lights. You know the analogy about the poor man's boots? That a wealthy guy can spend more on a pair of boots that last several years, whereas a poor guy can only buy crappy boots that need replacing every year or two - he ends up spending more money but still having crappy boots... thats where I'm at with the lights! I got these incrementally, spent too much, and they still don't do the job. Here's a pic of how they can perform, veg is ok, but in flower they just don't cut it.

They get this far but then flowering just doesn't take off in the final few weeks.

This particular plant running now is a poor man's plant for sure in terms of foliage and overall size, mostly due to how much I took off her through veg. The next ones will be trained better throughout veg to ensure a thicker and more even canopy, and hopefully fatter buds :smokeit:

End of week 6 flowering PKXL, still healthy enough and tiny, enjoying the potash-rich feed. Baaad light burn from neem oil in places, I didnt knock the stems after spraying. Will only yield enough for a few runs through the vape. No problemo I'll enjoy what she gives! Waiting on delivery of the new lights. Cheers growers :jointman:

End of week 7 flowering for PKXL

My new lights are here and PKXL and in particular my other houseplant clones have responded very well to them. I have some 6500K and some 4000K LEDs, four x 100w equivalent each.
The veg space is set up with two 6500K, and will have two more once the fans arrive to cool the space.
The flower space is sort of in between configurations, with two of the new 4000K lights added to the old lights - once PKXL finishes up I will reconfigure the space to prioritise the new, seemingly more effective lights. I wondered if changing the lights entirely during late flower would upset and risk herming PKXL.

Onto the plant herself, the addition of the new lights have seen a noticeable hastening in flower production this week.

I germinated and planted two new auto seeds in the veg space, they are yet to break the soil. One Northern Lights and one Blueberry, both from Royal Queen seeds :headbang:

Cheers dudes :smokeit:

Hi dudes wrapping up week 8 of Painkiller XL's flowering phase. We've put in the new setup fully and bud production has picked up a lot! This particular plant will always be tiny but I'm stoked about the new lights for future grows. Purple LEDs be damned :smoking:

By the way this strain is electric.. as soon as the conditions were right, she really burst with bud growth. The more talented guys here could pull a lb off her no problem - for a 1:1 THC:CBD strain that could be right for someone.

I snapped a branch while changing the setup and ended up removing it, it was the smallest cola. It's not mature but not too far away either, so will dry and cure.

The two autos in the veg space have sprouted and look fine so far.

Enjoy a fine smoke this weekend dudes :jointman:

PKXL's trichs started turning amber seemingly overnight. She's resting in the dark for 24h before chop.
