Worked on my lighting some. It's tricky. Too much light or too close and everything washes out and over exposes. Too far away or the wrong angle and the shadowy areas are way too dark. So far I don't like the flash photos much. Seem grainy.
I thought about eventually getting a real camera but I'm fine with my phone this far especially with being able to edit on the same device. Not sure if I could handle a regular camera well but good luck to you.

These were still on my mobile. Still yet to pull a pic I was really happy with from the actual camera. Tried the auto focus but it our lovely subject seems to confuse it. Focuses on the wrong areas or can't get the light right or both. I haven't given up though.

That looks great to me. Beautiful plant too friend. I think part of my issue is still lighting. My COB light throws out some wicked pink light that is super hard to correct the temperature on without the colors getting screwy. With it off I still don't have enough light. I'm using a 13w warm white bulb in a lamp. I think it's too dim and too warm. Here's a raw dslr shot under the lights, you'll see what I mean.
