Photography Not there yet

Hey dudes and dudettes. I'm new to growing and the AFN but I've fallen in love with taking pictures of the plants. I was just trying to document the progress at first but I got really into trying to get better and better shots after a while. Especially now as they're in the latter weeks of life, the trichomes and the pistils are fascinating. I am using my phone camera for these photos so far. My lady friend is an avid nature photographer and has a Canon T6 something or other. She's trying to teach me but I've beenunhappy with the photos I've captured with it so far. I am pretty much over the phone camera though so I'm gonna be trying to get that sorted out. Here's a couple that I really liked so far. As I get the hang of it I will share more, maybe

I, too, take lots of pics...primarily just to inspect growth and any probs. You'll often see things you hadn't noticed beforehand....my phone cam is top notch and have just bought a macro attachment to improve tric pics.

What are you using for your close ups buddy? I have a handheld microscope. Maybe I can attach it somehow to my phone or take a pic through it. Haven't tried that route yet. If I can get the DSLR to cooperate I might buy my lady a new macro lens (aka for myself).

I bought a cheap hand held jewlers loupe. It magnifies x30 and x60... I know you can get one that attaches to your phone, but I haven't used one yet

Can I ask which one you bought?

I've usually had to use a jewelers loupe over my phone camera...that works but 20 yrs of MS makes it difficult for a steady shot ...just ordered a clip on set for my Samsung 9+ …"3 in 1 photo pro"...photographylenspro.com

Thank you for this. I played every contact sport known to man over the years and fought amateur mma before that was really a thing, bells been rung about 1000 too many times.The hands do not cooperate for being still for me either. I'm struggling just to get a look at the trics with the scope much less trying to photo through it.
