So I had a post on here for my first auto grow and I made alot of mistakes of course and learned from them LOL first mistake was nutrient deficiency until I purchased a Ph meter so I stunted the plant to where it was only 6 inches tall and had one set of leaves but I fixed the deficiency then 2 weeks later my led light became unhooked and cracked my plant in half LOL so it was back to 5 inches and one poor looking set of leaves but instead.of the main stalk:2cents: growing taller it grew out the sides and is now about 20 inches maybe and it never autoflowered so I switched it to 12/12 4 days ago and it started to bud. So how long should it be before its done? I know I gotta look at the trichomes and should I switch up my nutrient feedings?? Any suggestions would be nice and I wrote this on my mobile phone so I can't proof read sorry if something doesn't make sense thanks!

a good estimation of time for most plants to be done budding is around 2 months or more precisely 6-8 weeks. but it is all determined in the plants genetics, for instance if by chance you have a mostly pure sativa it will take between 3-4 months to flower. so it could take 2-4 months for it to be done flowering but most likely you will be able to identify the timeline based on leaf/bud structure.

MY best advice is to feed it 1 tblspoon of molasses per gallon of water once every 3 waterings during the flower stage. do some more research or go buy some nutes its all out there. goodluck

K i didnt think 2 months jeez!! lol well i have my lights on 12/12 for the last 4 to 5 days and i have a almost 5 week old big bang under the same light and i just dropped a short ryder in soil like 10 minutes ago so it will be growing soon(i had it germinating for 4 days and the root was almost 3 inches long) will the budding one stop budding right if i put it back to 20/4?

you are correct it will go back to vegetative state if you put a flowering plant back under those light regimens you speak of (20/4)
