My Royal Queen Northern Lights had been doing GREAT until the last few days.

Stats on her:

33 days old.
2.5 gallon airpot.
FFOF soil.
Started feeding her Grow Big on 8/20/12 at 1/2 teaspoon to a gallon of water. (which was her last watering)
Soil ph sits at 6.1 today.
Lights 18 on/6 off, 2X42 watt CFL and 1 65 watt CFL.

I noticed a yellowing leaf on the bottom of her first. And now over the past 48 hours she has started to droop. And another yellow leaf popped up.

Any ideas? This is only my second grow. Thanks!

:smokebuds:Some of the older bottom leaves somtimes turn yellow and fall off .I just had some drop today also .As long as there all not turning yellow i wouldn't worry. If the whole plant is drooping she needs water, especialy if you haven't watered since 8/20.

Thanks! I was being cautious with water since I over watered my first grow. I felt her this morning and the soil was pretty dry. Wanted to get some confirmation before I watered her.

i always water a dry plant before adding the fertilizer mix. reduces chance of nute burning the roots. GL

Soil ph sits at 6.1 today.
get back to 6.3 - 6.5 ASAP or I think you'll see yellowing climb.
ph vs uptake.gif

at 6.1 you're starting to lock out nitrogen...

Thanks JM. Ive only had to lower ph in a soil. Whats a good method to raise it?

Did some research and scooped up some lime today. Added a tablespoon and mixed it into the soil and gave her about 24 oz of straight water. Ill check the ph again in a few days to see where she is at. Thanks again!
