MarsHydro Light Shows 2024
You should get 30k hours before any serious degradation, that's about 3.5 years at 24/7.
Agreed led’s have a lot longer life. Gone are the days of constantly changing bulbs! Used to go through so many cfls!
Although @NORB YIPPLS a mate of mine used the Phillips led smart bulbs and had 2 that u can change the colour aswell as a migro light.

Could it be that I never sowed the seeds deep enough,
Cos they were pretty close to the surface when I dropped them in and covered them, the water washed soil away when I added some water after planting and didn't help lol.
I've never had them this tall and on the 5th grow using this light and same strain, Also could the light be losing power considering its been on solid since I got it
lol its only been off in total around 3 hours

I thought the same with mine mate. Mines were definitely too close to surface as some of the main stems can be easily knocked over even at day 65 now so be careful with your girls. My lights do also have the red spectrum diodes so it's maybe a case of both.

Thinking I might buy some sort of blue spectrum lights specifically for the first 1 - 2 weeks for next grow.

There getting the Tie back LST treatment anyways so just need them to stenthen up abit and not fall over, the extra soil should do the trick

Neat setup, killer beans, good grower... I see great things in 10 weeks! (edit: OR less!)

Say, what's the wattage on that green tube heater you've got? I know we can't get them over here but I've seen something similar. Just a bit spendy if it hasn't the oomph to actually heat a space.
@DCLXVI how did u add a pic on your header

I've got 2 of those same lights. 1 with the dimmer knob like you, and 1 of the screwdriver version. Had a driver on the 1st one die on me and Mars sent me a new replacement light since they didn't have any US drivers in stock. Don't be afraid to turn them up. Had several plants grow past them so they taught me how to supercrop. I just kept them at 100% and adjusted the height when their young
