Looking great! Would you be defoliating the larger one? Or maybe letting her stretch a little so you can spread her out better/easier?

I bin training her since very young n defoliating early...as a consequence she don' seem to miss a beat after torture anymore....can't afford to let her stretch or spread really...am working in a real tight space :thanks::thumbsup:

I'm surprised myself at how resilient they are and how well they respond to training. If your space restrictions are only vertical, you can still let them stretch some. You will find that the added length means you can direct/bend a particular budsite further away from one another, so they all receive light and has space to grow. After they form a good structure and each budsites are sticking straight up towards the light, which is right now for me, I stop LST and only supercrop when necessary. "Necessary" meant I supercropped at least 10 colas in the last 24 hours....LOL

I'm positive that you know best though. One thing I realized is that pics cannot be compared to seeing with own eyes. Due to angles, color, lighting, size etc. Especially a newb like me. Therefore, I feel that the grower knows best and my input is just that, only an input worth no more than 2 cents.

Happy growing to both of us! [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

Ha ha...yeah...I know what u mean...we all got our 2 cents lol...some are less accepting of opinions. ..but I'm more than happy to hear em so please accept my invitation to continue to express yours :d5:...I Darent go as far as supercropping this pair as they'r my first...and I think they so close to flowering....I think if I need to do much more lst from here I would be more inclined to bend each branch back on itself a lil...but I may supercrop in the future...I need to come have a look at yours :toke::thumbsup:

I always seem to reveal what i did on your thread before mine...lol

First time was the broken branch. This is the second time. So not yet updated on my thread im afraid. I'm feeding them tomorrow so will update then.

I guess i supercropped cos it was getting really crowded and the weak twisty ties are not lasting. Not to mention i already finished more than 100 twisty ties on only 5 plants. Not easy to get more in. Space, angles, clips etc are all getting more complicated.

I like to simplify things that are beyond my comprehension/intelligence and that means most of the time lol. I merely wanted spacing among budsites. In the beginning it was easy to "arrange" them with LST. Now that it is more challenging, how do i continue my mission without all the complications? I originally thought i would not do supercropping. When someone mentioned it on my thread, i revisited the idea and tried it on some fan leaves i was about to remove anyways.

Seems perfect cos you can really manipulate where the budsite grows without any tying down. As @islandgrower says, its used to negate the dominance and allow other bud sites to catch up. Exactly what i needed and works very well so far. With a few tries, you will know exactly where to supercrop to achieve the eventual canopy height you want.

Thanks for allowing me to ramble on your thread. Especially today when I'm really too free and bored. As always, just my sharing of my very recent experiences.

Ohh...forgot to mention that i dont tie down after supercropping. I just make sure the insides are really mashed up with rubbing and let it bend down. The stem won't come back up cos they are not young like before and the weight of the bud will hold it down. Its the budsite that will rise to the light. Once you see it once, you will know how it comes back. You will then get a good feel next time on where to supercrop in order for the budsite to be where u want it to be. Hope this makes sense and hope you're not regretting inviting me to express my 2 cents... [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Nah man...it' all good lol...tbh I hadn' really considered supercropping as an option in a first grow...but if I'm honest I may not have too much choice if the big girl continues to grow as she is...we'll see...I'll keep tying down fer as long as I can get away with it but if the time comes your advice will no doubt prove invaluable...cheers :bighug:
