Indoor Noob Alert!!!! Am I ok here???

Hey dark shadow.

Couple things of importance is they really need to be transplanted asap. The taproot is probably 10 inches long at that point and the plant won't grow to its full potential if its being held back. Autos are very fast and every day counts. As for the lights I actually have dozens of those e26 screw in bulbs. Wattage wise you are a lot lower then they claim. I think just about half and the smd leds are very inefficient. Meaning the light output per watt is very low. I say do a few runs with them and see how you make out. I would also highly recommend reconsidering your light choice when you are ready. For the price there are much better options. Cree and citizen cobs put a lot more photons to the plants than epistar leds do watt for watt. Most production led lights sold today are all the same and just rebranded. The leds which are the most important are actually the cheapest leds sold. Then their power supplies are cheap too.

Hope it helps

First I'd like to say welcome to AFN @DarkShadow !:pass:you are going to like it here. One of the most chill sites around. Also tons of great info and friendly folks willing to help. Hop on over to Live Stoners Chat and introduce yourself so we can all give you a proper AFN wrlcome.

As for lights when you decide to upgrade. If you don't mind a bit of diy, pop on over to the diy led section and hit up @BigSm0 and @pop22 those gents will get you set up with a led light kit that can get you more bang for your buck.

Thanks MG! I'll come that way to check you guys out. However, I just learned a lil lesson about my set-up. I'd wind up wasting a heck of a lot of light and energy and would have less effect on my lil youngens. Maybe if it was an established plant already. The angle on the outer lights do not shine on the lil ones. just the light in the middle (RATS!!! I thought I had a very good idea...) Oh well, lessons to be learned...

Not to mention, as @BigSm0 pointed out, your wasting a lot of the watt draw of those lights as heat. They are probably less efficient than an hps. I'd return those bulbs, if you can, and go a different route.

Are these photos or autos your growing?

BigSm0,

I know this is an "auto flower" connection site, but I am growing feminized. Sorry for the confusion. This was the 1st site I stopped by and right away I been getting good advice from. I'll try auto on my next go around. Already have a strain in mind. Thanks for your advice! I will keep it in mind when I make the move to auto.

Not sure what photos are, but they are fem. Yes... I'll be returning these lights on Monday / Tuesday. I'll prob be purchasing either Platinum LED or MarsHydro.

Photo-period plants. If your gonna buy an expensive light like the platinum why not have a look at the best led on the market:

http://www.amaretechnology.com/shop-online

Shoot a private message to @AMARE-TECH-Vic you won't be dissapointed! They give a %20 discount to AFN members!

I don't mean to come off as pushy. :pass:
Its just many of the top led lights on the market are very over priced, use cheap components, and the market is loaded with false claims.

Gotcha, photos -photo period plants can take the undersized pot a little longer than autos. The rest of the comment still pertains to photos as well as all plants. Mars and platinum both use the same components so I'd choose the cheapest one with the most wattage.

Absolutely right. of the two panels he mentioned 20% of the energy used is actually light which is terrible. The rest is wasted energy. Amares panels are much better closer to 50%.
