No truly outside autos

I must agree with you some, but not entirely... many autos are HORRIBLE for outdoor... but some really EXCEL!

you just need to procure the right genetics, and then do some acclimitization to your area if the breeder hasnt already done it to similar conmdiitons.

For example... C99 by breeders by "XXX"... all outdoor native soil.. stellar performers! 6- 8 foot tall plants !

btw... outdoor breeders... breed outdoor. :toke: and lose 90% of what they put out to select good genetics.. :toke:

6 plus ounces a piece, easy!

Most of the ruderalis based auto strains were bred to indicas for faster finishing and bigger, tighter buds. I believe Stitch's goal with his super autos was to create a fast finishing sativa or sativa dom plant, so he went with fast finishing photo strain instead of ruderalis as his base. At least that's the way it was explained to me. I believe LBH followed a similar path with his auto hazes. I've grow some supers both indoor and out and they have done much better for me outdoors than in.

Thanks muddy. That is great to know. I am ready to start my line of super autos and am making my seed order now. I am looking at ,think different, chaze, auto mazer,c99 and some others. I am trying to make as wide a base as I can by breeding each to a great photo then start combining all of these before I begin to select for traits in the second stage. If I understand recurrent selection right, any trait that is incuded in the first stage can be pulled out in later in the selection process. Reading about that breeding tecniche here on afn has lead me in the right direction for my studies. I beleive in doing more of what works and this system is for creating strains tayalored to our needs. Almost all of our main food crops have already been thru this. We do not have to invent a new way doing this to mj, we only have to do what is proven to work already. Besides, Mr. Burbank said mj is one of the most adaptable speices he had worked with. He also said increasing hardiness is the BEST way to increase both yeilds and potency. A dwarf plant is a great thing and has it's own place in any garden, but dwarfisim does not exclude it's being hardy. I do not think hardiness is even a trait, rather a lacking of this is a sign of an internal weakness in it's genectics.
