New Grower NLxBB & White Dwarf(?) Grow Journal -- Late Start Day 45, Pics From Seed, with a TWIST...

Good morniiiiing vietnaaamm! So it's become a war zone in my cabinet. I found some light green spots on the top fans of the NLxBB yesterday. I posted in the infirmary (link) and the consensus seems to be thrips or something. If it is, these guys are extremely good hiders. I even set up an infrared camera last night pointed at the bottom of the leaves and there was nothing. I did flush her the day before they showed up so I suppose it's possible that there were some minerals deposited on the leaves that burned them a bit or maybe droplets amplifying the light. Either way, she's still looking healthy and buds are definitely visibly progressing every day :D

--> Spots On Leaves <--

HaHaHa....going Special Forces on their asses! Love IT!

The White Dwarf (still just a guess) has some rolled up leaf margins towards the top today. Temps were at 80 overnight and the soil is moist. Humidity 45%. Color looks good. Leaves are slightly stiff. Any ideas?

Ohhh now might be a good time to mention that I trimmed a branch and some dying leaves off toward the bottom yesterday...nothing I haven't done more intensely in the past with no rolled margins...

Trap I don't mess around ;)

Is this really NL x big bud? Very tasty! Looks like it should be fetching mallards.

By the way it is indeed moisture droplet magnifying glass effect on the leaves. Take my advice, and chill out. That plant is looking healthy. Maybe some dense bud compactor. Watch it fatten up like sumo in a dimsum factory.

Your daily dose :)

The spots haven't increased or changed at all so I'll chalk it up to a false alarm. I did, however, identify some issues I am addressing. My soil ph was a bit low. I add a couple tbs of dolomite lime to the top layer of soil. I watered with nutes as usual with ph 7 adjusted water. Tap comes out 7 and is 5 after adding flora nutes. Using hydro grade ph+. I gave a foliar spray of 1tsp Epsom dissolved in 1ltr of ph 7 tap. WD top leaves are curling worse at the margins and getting dry. Basically the small bud leaves within 4" of the light are doing this. Going to chill on the lights and drop down to half today to give them a break.
