Lovely. Those are on my list for outdoors this summer. What sized pots did you use? Also, how long did they take to finish?

I'm doing my first grow of some experimental super auto seeds right now. They are at 11 weeks and huge. Quickly outgrowing my little indoor grow area.

That's what scares me the most about trying these indoors. I have 4.5 ft of head space, so if i got the monster that MrMcG got, i'd be in trouble.. Maybe one of them and LST it? Maybe worth trying. Just to get that sativa taste from an auto would be nice.

I had 3 of them in a 2' x 2.5' area. One is over 30" and the other two are at 22" and very bushy. LSTed the big one but even then it got overcrowded. Just moved the big one to my other area 2 days ago. They took 5 weeks to show sex. Fed them veg nutes through week 8 but only in the last couple days that the buds are starting to take off. Probably could have fed veg nutes for another week or two and put on even more vertical height. Stitch said he had Number Ones outdoors that reached 6' and yielded 7 ounces. Doubt I'll grow anymore of them indoors.

I think there 45L tree pots, they would have been alot bigger if the pot had been bigger. im going to do a nirvana sky in hempy bucket in the same 45L pot (1005 perlite) and see what size I get then.

I had this one in a 3L, she suffered alot but as you can see shes one big fat corn on the cob :DView attachment 1886

@Muddy, I think they are more suited for outdoor. Unless you got some nice room for them. I think i'd like the control of a sativa clone. Over the auto side, indoors. Then again you could just flip the lights when ever, and it'd start to flower.

120 days is pretty close to my whole season in the summer. It would be a gamble putting allot of them outside where i am. Number 1 sounded like it might finish sooner for me, indica's are one of my only outdoor options.

There is a user on here growing the SCH that has some done in 90 days. That is more what i could work with for an outdoor sativa.

@MrMc, should start calling you the green house warrior! Hempy's on this strain will be some thing never seen before :D Imagen this strain in a dialing in DWC? My lord... Half p's to full ones no prob.

I agree, a regular sativa from seed or clone is probably better indoors. Even with the long growing season I have, early May to early November, I had trouble getting outdoor sativas to finish last year. Didn't harvest G13xHaze till day before Thanksgiving and Columbian Red Haze 5 days after that. Even still, they could have used a couple more weeks. If I time it right I can get two crops of supers in. No more full size sativas, nothing that has more than 10 weeks flowering from now on.

I ordered some of these from dope seeds. I wonder if I should use colloidal silver on one so I can get some fem. beans. Do you guys think that would be a good idea or not?

yeah... the real problem with the sativas... is they have to get below 11 1/2 hours of light to really trip in hard flowering... had same prob here.. just finished by end of oct... and that was a smidgon early still.

I was planning on doing DWC in the greenhouse this year, I wanted to build a solar powered one. but after spending lots of time last year researching DWC I decided that it wasnt going to work to well as the temps are so inconsistant in the greenhouse the res temp would be going up & down like a yoyo. from what I have researched & seen with my first hempy attempts temps dont really mess with a hempy bucket, ph stays pretty stable.

actually... dwc might work... the water in the buckets might be enough to stablize the temps... water holds a tremendous amount of heat!

just a thought.

but hempy is probably easier and less maintenace
