Dutch Passion Next year, I wanna grow one thiiiis big :)

It seems like so long away doesn't it lol. But yeah she'll go for 100 days. I've contemplated trying that 21 day flush on her. What do you think??

Oh, and just to prove there is no getting away from the narcotic...ness of this strain, she's already showing amber trichs lol. I'll try and take a pictures later :)

:peace:

I think it's more of a coco/ or synthetic based nutes scheme mate?

Iv been quite tempted to not flush at all with organic but I do so anyway just to be sure.

Nope, I rarely do... at most I'll feed it plain water for a week but I've still not let a plant ride it out till its fully yellowed. I get a clean white ash, no lingering taste from the nutes.... and I damn well know what they smell like so if they'd tainted the taste, I'd know about it lol.

Can't see it hurting the plant trying though, we'll see... depends how desperate I get for a smoke ;)

It beat me.... and not chop eyes this time... This time stress got the better of me. Pulling her out twice a day from a tent she was almost the same size as to feed her, and using these CFL's has beaten me. Light penetration wise, the 'sweet spot' was only around her main cola and the very tops of the side branches meaning the main bulk of the plant was missing out on quite a lot. So this coupled with my growing annoyance at having to manhandle such a beasty plant made me decide to chop her head off.
I'm so much happier now, it was definitely the right decision and the plant has already responded well by fattening up on the lower sites which until no had been shielded by everything up top.
It's a shame not to have the plant in one piece for harvest time but this, from the looks of what's happening, may have actually increased my yield significantly. Time will tell but it's looking good.

But anyways, the buds from this main cola are already intensely strong so there's certainly nothing lost. She's put me on my ass quite a few times these last few days while I've been smoking her.

I chopped the main cola into 9 individual bud which ended up weighing 47 grams once dried, trichs 60% cloudy 20% clear and 20% amber. Here's a few close ups so you can see the resin coverage plus a few shots of the, now, headless plant. Another 20-30 days and this will be loaded with chunky buds ;)

She's beastly bro. Well grown. :Sharing One:

That's a beauty for sure! :grat:

Thanks very much guys. Out of all the strains I've grown so far, this one sits very firmly in the top 5. Such a beautiful smoke.... devastating but beautiful :)

I've actually decided to chop this girl down a week early so I can concentrate my tent/lights on the ComPassion and CBD Kush, they're starting to take off now and I don't wanna hold them back so once this is outta the way I'll have the room to pop them on into something a little larger..... anyways, that's a different thread...
The trichs are 90% cloudy and 10% amber with more amber turning up by the day so I wouldn't really wanna take it much further anyways. She's ready to come down.
The aroma's she is giving off are fantastic. She smells a lot more sativa than my last one, very pungent with hints of orange blossom, sour lemons, bitter honey and black pepper.
I'm dedicating 3/4's of this plant to hash as I feel I need to take a little bud diet to let my head clear up a bit, I'm a little fuzzy atm so a week or two off the bud will help straighten my noggin out :)
Still keeping a decent collection of flowers for when I do want them though, once dried and in the jar I'll get some pics up :)

For now though, here she is pre-chop on day 84

Mr ganjamoto, it has been far too long my good friend. Hope you're okay sir. Still trying to work your way through that ridiculous hoard of yours?? ;)
I do hope your vacation's going well though sir, can't wait for your return :)

Thank you very much for the kind words. Tis always great to hear from you

Btw, how did your hash run work out for you or have you not had the time yet? Here's a little something I made from this AWW. Lovely, deep, dark, sticky afghani-type hash flavour with slight tones of sage and spearmint. Very yummy :)

Here we go then guys, the end of the road. I must apologise for just copying this from one of my other threads, ultimately though anything I would have written again here would have just read the same :)

Over the past few weeks I have been absolutely obliterated by the power of this Widow. She has completely blown me away once again. This is the only strain I currently have jarred so it's all I'm smoking right now and it has taken a full 13 days for my tolerance to start building up, so far the longest I've found any strain to last me without losing any oomph. Photo and Auto.

As a hash producer, she was fantastic. During a large bubble run she gave close to a 20% return of lovely sticky, soft Afghani tasting hash which also had some great undertones of spearmint and sage.

The flowers, strangely, don't have this herbal side to the flavour but what it does have, apart from the classic White Widow black pepper musk, is a touch of orange and grapefruit hanging in the background.
The aroma on the other hand is the opposite way round, the Grapefruit and orange are the main tone and then the Black Pepper has the back seat.

A really beautiful smoke that I honestly cannot fault. My only note for the grow would be to watch her Nitrogen intake as she comes into flower. I do think I worried a little too much but she definitely showed signs of being a wee bit sensitive.

As I said, I wanted to use the majority of this plant for hash so that's exactly what I did.
130 grams went into hash production, of which I got 22 grams in return and the last 45 grams of flowers has been held back to cure.

So, including the 47 gram main cola I chopped early that would take the final yield to just over 220 grams of rock solid buds. Certainly can't complain about that from a 125W CFL (with a little over-spill from the plant next door)

It won't be long till I buy some more of these and go for a 3rd round. But for now, I thank you all for coming along with me through this grow. It's been an absolute pleasure. I'll leave you all with some (not very good) close up shots of this beautiful frost machine, AutoWhite Widow :)
