Hi everyone. ;) I just ordered a hydroponic kit to grow 4 plants at a time in, and ordered 4 autoflowering seeds - 2 syrup automatic and 2 fruit automatic. I spent a lot of time reading about the different varieties and since I am after the pain control benefits, these two looked like good potentials - opinions?

I will be reading the book that comes with the kit when it arrives (ordered just a couple of days ago) but any advice on the best way to set things up would be appreciated.

My husband purchased an LED plant light, which when it arrived has red and blue lights on it. Has anyone used something like this?

Also, how should I start the seeds? I have germinated and grown a couple of plants outdoors, but that is very different from growing hydroponically. These seeds are feminized, so I would appreciate any advice also on how to keep them female, since I've heard they can change if I am not careful.

I was thrilled to find this forum because it is very specific on the plants grown and am looking forward to getting lots of help!

Welcome vapemama, do you know the brand of LED? and good luck with your grow :D

I would google grow diarys using your nutrient line

LED

I have no idea the brand of LED light. It was something he found on ebay. it's about 1' square and is covered with little LEDs which alternate red and blue. It was marketed as being a plant grow light. I am somewhat apprehensive that using this light will create a failure in my attempt to grow my plants.

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but he may have bought a knock off LED, if you want to use LED I would look into the blackstar line, many members here use them.
