No. Don't start in the OF. Start in smaller cups with Jiffy seed starter mix or some Fox Farms Light Warrior, then you can transplant into the OF after 2-3 weeks. You don't have to use that soil mix, use that OF and LW like I was saying since that's what you got, but take heed to everything else. Germination, feeding, bubbling water and tier transplanting.

hell yea use it i use it just go get some light warrior mix it 50/50 or fill pot up with OF the hollow out the middle and fill with LW and your golden...

hey guys i just read the post muddy put about not starting of the seeds in ffof and thats what i got i wanna know if i should buy new soil or will it work??

I use the hollow out the middle method and as you can see from my plants a few pages back it works well bro,but also listen to squid hes a good guy and knows what he is talking about

Thanks growdawg. I am all for that hollow out method though, just never used it myself. I like having them in smaller cups to start anyway. Easier to handle among other things, and with the tier transplant it's a breeze.

thats what makes this site a blessing from GOD!!!so many growers and diffirent ways to grow,I learned alot from this site i would not have a harvest as well as im having without the great AFN network and staff/bloggers

Hey AFN just checkin in with my smoke and dry weight report.....I chopped 2 plants due to conditions i had no control over(long story) and one is still left kickin in the tent going to let her go about 80 day then chop her.Ok so here we go out of the 2 plants i chopped the dry weight was 58.2grms so not bad for an eairly chop i hung dry for a 5days in ideal temps closet then paper bags for 2 days then mason jars up until today and so on....I will burp jars for the next week and a half once a day by taking them out jar let sit for a few min. then back into the jar until next day burp,Then let sit in pump N seald jar for 3-4 weeks


Smoke report so far:The smoke has been very smooth not yet dank strong but also not tumble weed taste(dry hay taste) so im sure with a few more burps and a pump N seal for 3 weeks or so in mason jars she will be killer dank(i think,i hope)....The high is very (couchlock) i like that so im very satisfied so far with the AK47from (grass o matic) Deff.will buy again and would recommend to others for a good indica strain.


PS.....Also going to finish trim today i seem to think it is eaiser to do it when dry,Im sure other people begg to differ just my opinion
