I hate noobs.an't say enough about a reply like that for a total noob to autos and forums. Thanks man I appreciate that.
Calm down bud. We all have lives, families and things going on too. (Holiday weekend.) A lot of us get on here in our free time and help out when we can. This is a great place actually and you shouldn't be so quick to judge. Posting things in the "live help thread" will get you a faster response. Sorry people work, sleep, live in different timezones etc.Lots of help guys, not a single reply in over a day and I started a new thread in the sick plants section. Guess you have to be TaNg or something to get recognition. Seriously disappointing forum
Haven't checked ph of anything tho
And btw, posted this in the infirmiry, after 30 some views and not a single reply in 24 hours I got a little discouraged
It's all good BrotherCalm down bud. We all have lives, families and things going on too. (Holiday weekend.) A lot of us get on here in our free time and help out when we can. We're all here to learn, share and listen. But be patient, try sending some PM's or smoking one.
Hope they get better.
I have a ton of questions about ph, but I'm just going to sound like an idiot id imagine so maybe I'll take my noob ass to the daycare as recomended and ask there to spare the embarasment. My questions aren't about where they need to be but more like how the hell do I change or fix it if i have to wait two or three days to water the damn thing, then if its not perfect wait till i water again to give it another whack by the time I get it right it's done. Why am I using bull$#*% ph perfect nutes? (One very light feed)
Okay, pH is king. You HAVE to know your pH, Brother. Everything you feed depends on having proper pH. Too high or to low, the plant doesn't take it up. No bueno
Test kits are better than nothing to read soil pH, but I have a hard time reading the color charts. It depends on what you can spend, but good meters don't need to be overly spendy.
AFN is going through some heavy changesBlame me, if anyones to blame. We don't get paid for this, it's just our passion, but I was off for a long time and it created some gaps.
Well I'm back, and still don't know much about anything, but I'd like to help you through this grow. My best feature is that I don't know much, but I party with the folks that do!
If that works for you, tomorrow we'll talk about those gnats![]()
Doc, no nutes are perfect (especially pH-wise), and you aren't heading for daycareI have a ton of questions about ph, but I'm just going to sound like an idiot id imagine so maybe I'll take my noob ass to the daycare as recomended and ask there to spare the embarasment. My questions aren't about where they need to be but more like how the hell do I change or fix it if i have to wait two or three days to water the damn thing, then if its not perfect wait till i water again to give it another whack by the time I get it right it's done. I would definitely check ph the advanced nutes run hot like a mother fucker. Ph perfect my ass definitely would not use them again other than rhino skin.So I'm running 18-6, three bears og and day temp never goes above 80, stays right about 77-78 anytime I look, night got to 62 last night, a bit cooler than the 68 it usually gets down to, the exhaust is 8 inch running through a carbon filter and 4 inch intake. It kicks on every 5-10 minutes for a few minutes or more to either cool off or dehumidify. It's super soil mixture in promix bx on bottom plain promix bx on top. I did give a very light dose of advanced 3 part ph perfect grow micro bloom to get them down to that supersoil. Haven't checked ph of anything tho
