Hi all, been lurking here for a while, just joined as a member as I think the knowledge base here is unsurpassed.

I am a new (but older) indoor grower... grown outdoor before with mixed success, this is my 1st indoor soil grow, 3 x Auto Brooklyn sunrise (Dutch Passion) at eight weeks today.

Equipment

1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0 Green Qube Tent.
1 x Digital 400 HPS fixture, (with MH & HPS bulbs)
1 x RVK Fan Cooled, enclosed & ducted Reflector System (for above)
1 x 600w Mars Hydro LED (used for fill mainly)
1 x EVolution Digital Fan Controller
1 x 6" Rhino Pro Filter System
1 x Dehumidifier
1 x Variable Controlled Humidifier
1 x Home-made "Humidify / Dehumidify" Controller
1 x Crenova 5MP Digital Microscope (as per image taken)
Assorted Fans for air movement
Controlled Powered Extraction & Intake 6" & 5" RVK Fans
TFA Data Logger with 4 balanced sensors (very cool bit of kit, by the way)
Air Pots, BioBiz Nuets, Canna Pro Soil,

The equipment has been set up from the knowledge gained from reading things here, It has helped more than I can say.... Thank you all.

One thing I decided as a result of some posts, was to buy a microscope to see when things are ready, any problems, insects, etc....

I have been blown away by what you can see with one, and the quality.... but I guess at my age I am easy to please.

So, I decided to take the smallest of flowers from the underbelly of one plant to take a look....

What do you think ?
Everything looking OK so far ?

Thanks again.

Hello and welcome!! Got a great start it seems! Those buds look great from that pic, they need a bit more time though, maybe 2 weeks. The trichome crystals will get more cloudy, and about that time most of the pistil hairs will be orange. There'll still be a few random new white hairs. Looking pretty though!

Thank you,

I also think another 2 maybe 3 weeks... I think I stunted their growth a little by turning on the bloom nuets as soon as I saw flowering had started (I know now, let them stretch - newbie mistake). So I think they will finish at about 11 weeks.

The 3 x girls are looking good, although I admit the LST makes them look a little short, but on the other hand they have very nice vertical buds getting sticky and fattening up well.

I will snap a pic tomorrow feeding time if anyone is interested.

Snapped these today at the girls watering/feeding time, and they are hungry..... (first photo) is the 3 girls in the tent, the remainder are just one plant (the left hand side one, in the first photo) taken from the tent and placed outside for 5 mins, to snap a few photos in natural light.

I think they are looking good (I accept, a long way to go to be perfect - I know, but), for my first indoor grow, I am a happy bunny.

There are still more lessons I have learnt but yet to adopt, so much good info on here. It is a constant learning process.

My next grow will be even better, of that I am sure.

However, every parent thinks their children are the best... But I'm very interested in what you all think of my grown up girls ?

Thanks again all.

Hey...so great to meet you!!

Sorry but no, they are not looking okay....but they are looking fantastic!! :D Really a fine job growing out the sunrises so far! I have a single sunrise growing outdoors right now...almost done! Yahoo!
I see in your sig you have a Hollands Hope growing outdoors...please post some pics of her too! I grew out a single HH last summer(she was a massive monster of a plant). If you ever need any advice on outdoor growing give me a shout.

:slap: They look great! Good job!

Quick update....

After a good examination today, I decided that as my girls are looking as they are getting there I will plan to start a flush.
As they are being fed with BioBiz, they will get 5 more days of their normal full feed, then reduce the level of nutrients to 50% for 1 week, then finally pure "Rain water" or Ph adjusted "Tap water" (if I run out of rain water) for the final week.... Then chop.....

Hows that sound?

Based on the colour of the trichs(about 50% cloudy 50% clear) in the close up I think that's a sound plan. Again beautiful plants. Please tag or quote me if you get a pic of the Hollands Hope up.
