Photoperiod New to No Till

@Need4Weed Yup, it provides nitrogen. The cover crop also helps retain moisture in the soil, and in outdoor cases, attracts beneficial insects. I read something that makes real sense; when is the last time, in nature, you saw one plant growing, with absolutely no other type of plant growing around it? Whether it be grass, weeds, flowers, etc... plants never grow alone. There's gotta be a reason for that, so that's another reason I went with a cover crop

Makes sense bro and I could have used some of those beneficial insects last year. Aphids hit me hard just as buds were setting and I had to use Azamax and still lost 2 out of 6 plants and stunted 2 others. This year I plan on planting marigolds around my plants and also, I'm going to try and get some lady bugs too! :peace:

Look into Method 1-PPS. It's organic, and it's very effective. I use it for integrated pest management, and it works. Please believe, that shit works! Brownguy420, from YouTube recommends it, and after seeing so many rave reviews about it amongst organic growers, I had to check it out. I'm glad I did. I'm also about to pick up some ladybugs. Good shit!

This technique reminds me of native American gardening or farming and the story of the 3 sisters ,cover crops have been used for centuries, and benefit the plants in so many ways .

@dankstyle J Exactly! The more I read about cover crops the more I told myself that this is a must. It just all makes so much sense!

The other day, I noticed what looked to be the beginning of a cal deficiency, so I threw some dolemite lime in some water and let it bubble before watering into the plant. Was that the right move? If no, I don't mind being corrected where I'm wrong. Feel free to lemme know wzup
