Just an update. Some supplies I have ordered and I paid for are out of stock.Build a soil has some new system in place delaying shipping...no more ordering from them as a heads up would have been nice since they knew in advance. Now to find supplies...again..sigh,,,.Not sure at this point if I'll log it on here as time is a tickin' away and when/if work happens I won't really have time not to mention where I live we no....again have no manager or office associates annddd...more issues with crackheads......for now just gotta play shit by ear.

I understand the worry on amazon but if a bag is ripped i think they will replace it, i ordered 2-3 bags of ffof with no issues but it is expensive! they sure do make their money off people on amazon that is for sure.

The miracle-gro will do fine since you are on a budget and it will do the job

Start up a journal and tag me so i can watch your adventure unfold :smoking: sounds like you have everything you need to have some homegrown action soon. Good luck!
I think the problem with Amazon is that prices on stuff like soil have to be high enough to absorb the "free" shipping. Bottom line is that the shipping is not free, Prime or otherwise, it is included in the price, and it hits heavy on high volume stuff like soil hard.

There is also the issue of sometimes too few vendors with competing products, and then they charge what they think they might get away with.

On the whole though, I have had good service from Amazon, and in a small northern town, they are sometimes the only realistic option for specialized stuff.

Glad to hear about the job mate, being unemployed sucks. I hope the new job works out for you, and takes the pressure off re. costs of your grow. Be warned though, growing can be seriously habit forming. :goodluck: :pighug:

The job didn't work out lol.BUT....I am waiting to hear back for a third interview on another. If this one works out....oh yeah,I am already looking at a new tent I want.I want to do a perpetual grow setup.

Speaking of....I wonder if it is possible when one plant starts flower to add in another plant with seedlings?
Buy hey, thanks for the kind words and thoughts.Tent I have now is 2x2x4.5 feet with TS 600 light. Was thinking of starting off with one plant so one plant has all the light then adding a second plant/pot when the other is like a week or so into flowering.

Yeah,me and Zeromitch were talking about that sneaky included shipping which they make it look like it is free. But from here on out Amazon it is.The grow houses here suck bad.Nothing ever in stock and way too much $$$$$ too.

Just bought my Grove Bags.Not bad at 10x 8th oz,8x 1/4 oz,6x 1/2 oz,10x 1oz. About 40 bucks OTD.But have enough different size bags.

I have not made the dive into Grove Bags, but I think I can see it on the horizon, likely by the chop of my new grow coming up soon.

As to starting another plant, I would say that unless both strains are small, I would not do it. The problem is that once plant #1 is well into flower, there may not going be room for another in a 2x2 until chop time. If I were you, I would just go with a single plant for now, and if you go with a bigger tent once you sort the job, your 2x2 could be where to start new plants so they are ready to take over in the big tent after chop time. Just my thought though, don't pay too much attention. :goodluck: :pighug:

If you have grow houses, you are further ahead than I am. In this place the choice is basically Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, or the local garden center. They all have some stuff that I can and do use, but none of the specialized stuff, all of which I get online, most from Amazon. Were it not for online sources, I would be pretty much screwed.

Ah I see.Yeah build a soil just got back to me and shipping is in the end of the week or next week.I DO appreciate them getting back in touch but Amazon is a lot faster as I just ordered my wood moisture analyzer to go with the Grove Bags along with FFOF soil. Will be here in a few days. All the soil I ordered and paid for a week to almost three weeks ago sold out and I got the emails today. So no more Walmart as this has happened before with items like paper plates and such.I REALLY did not expect there to be a soil shortage(along with motorcycles,cars,computers...)The Roots Organic I did buy in person is only a 5 gallon bag so I need just a little more to get going. My growhouse is the only one with good prices and selection but I have no transportation and to take a Lyft will not work as the grow house is next to a cultivation center I worked at and is really off the beaten path.Once I get there and need to get back I am screwed as no one could find the cultivation center when I was there as GPS is way off on location.

So,Amazon it is lol.Other hydro/grow stores are boutique like and selection is really bad and bags of FFOF the 1.5 bag go for 70 bucks or more....like WTF? lol.I paid 22 on Amazon for the same thing.So.....ALL is ordered and just waiting...once here I will slap it all together and hopefully be able to commit to a full detailed review.:smoking:
