New Grower New system and new strains

I started my First grow with autos, (or my first with plants of any kind for that matter) almost exactly a year ago. I used ff ocean forest as well, with 3 gal fabric pots, some perlite in there, & a couple of led’s. The biggest problem I ran into that run was water ph. Ended up buying a blu lab pen to test ph. But as far as the ocean forest goes tho, I had better results once I lowered ph between 6.3 to 6.5. I noticed you really have to pay attention with the fox farms to the plant & adjust ph & feed accordingly. Also watch out for fungus gnats with fox farms. Ran into that too that same run. To prevent that I’d recommend some mosquito dunks or pellets. You can mix some up in the water or top dress with it. It prevents & kills gnats & gnat larvae. It’s good stuff; I stand by it.

Thanks for your help full information. Being the first time using FFOF, I'm worried about pH. My passed grows I've always used ProMix without any issues for years. If it gives me a hard time, I'm going back to my old proven methods. Won't be feeding them for three weeks and hope my gals use up the nutes. Was hoping for a less stressful grow with Fox Farm. If any bugs make their way into the garden from the soil I'll take action

Sounds like you’ve got plenty of experience. Can’t wait to see the product. For now I’ll sit back & enjoy your journey. :pop::pop::pop:

Be sure to drop by live stoners some time. There’s always at least a few ppl floating around in there. If you have any questions & are having a hard time getting an answer on here, you will get a quick response their. Or at least someone will point you in the right direction.
Good luck with the grow my friend.

I've got 4 new kids with heads held high this morning. One hasn't popped it's head out yet but it's doing well. Now what to do with the sixth seeds that has it's tap root out but not growing? I'm a proud papa

Had a casualty this morning and a no show. Down to four healthy seedlings now. I think this will be for the better cause of how big these are supposed to get. If anything it gives me more room to start the next round as these are finishing.
