Grow Room New set up

So I think I got everything we need. The grow is just for wife and I. We both are Medical Cannabis Card holder in our State but $360 oz is steep when your both on disability. So going to try and grow our own. Still going to use the Dispensary for everything but for flower hopefully when we get this dialed in

Vivosun 3 gallon fabric pot
Vivosun 2 6” clip fans 6” floor fan
Fox farm Trio for nutrients 1/4 strength
Cal-mag
Biobizz light mix

Going to switch nutrients to AN Sensei PH perfect in the near future.

Ordering seeds from Seedman.


Any input on if I’m good or need something else. All input is much appreciated.

If you are growing autos I'd order from Mephisto directly.

Either way I'd avoid seedsman. Their site has security issues. A site should never store your password without encryption, and seedsman stores it without. You can tell because when you do a forgot password on their site, they send you your current password in an email.


This is pretty amateur stuff so who knows what other security short cuts they take.

One other thing I'd get is a fan speed controller. If your fan is running at full speed all the time, it might make temps or humidity drop more than you want.

Also if your fan pulls too hard for your carbon filter, the filter basically does nothing. Having a fan speed controller can help in this situation as well.

Thanks for advice. Unfortunately I already ordered from them but will be going with Mephisto next seeing they got a high rep with autos,guess I should’ve done some more research. I got some OG Kush,Purple Kush CBD and got for free was Northern Light and Diesel and they are all Autos The fan does have fan speed and temp,humidity control. Thanks again. Very much appreciated

Any reason your planning on switching to advanced nutrients?
They are a good range and work well but are expensive. If budget is an issue i would look into greenleaf nutrients - megacrop (not sure if the free sample is still available) if so its a 300g bag that you only pay for postage.

The filter is only 5 cfm higher. Is that ok or should I look for something more.

Thanks @woody . Only reason was hearing all good things about them. I’m going to try the Fox Farm Trio that I have first. Hopefully it all works out
