Hi all new member here looking for some info on autos and I'm hoping this is best place to learn from all you's experienced growers out there. Sorry about the name was in a rush when registering and it kept telling me username already in use lol.
It's the first time I've grew autos only my third set up all together so very inexperienced not grown for about 6-7 years until now but i do know the basics i suppose.
Ive got 5 amnesia haze and 5 Big Bang autos on the go at the minute in soil vermiculite and perlite mix all looking healthy etc in 25 litre pots under 2x 600watt and 1x 400watt hps lights (used metal halide lamps for the first 3weeks) carbon filter extract and fresh air coming in too temperatures sits around 25 degrees give or take a couple, also used bio grow from week 3-5 and because they've went so high I've switched to ionic soil bloom (1/4 the recommended amount) its all I had available to me there and then and was desperately trying to stunt them as they are in a 2 meter high tent and I'm running out of room really fast, the amnesia are about a meter and a half high already and looking at some other autoflowers online they are a hell of a lot smaller and are a lot further ahead of mine flowering wise at that age the Amnesia haze are now at about 6&1/2 weeks from seed and the Big Bang around 4 all showing pre flowers some more than others but no bud and tops seem ages away too, my question is should i switch to 12/12 or keep them at 20/4 or even try 18/6 as i really can't have them getting any taller but don't know if i'll stretch them even more by giving them more rest or not, I bought the seeds off eBay from sensi seeds uk (allegedly) so I'm thinking they might not even be autos, the amnesia haze are looking more like normal plants and the Big Bang do look more like autos smaller and bushy, did transplant them twice before I found out I shouldn't have school boy error I know but we live and learn I suppose, I was careful trying my best not to disturb the roots too much, think I've covered everything about my set up to describe to you's the environment they are in but I've probably forgot something, I'm really not being impatient just can't have them getting any taller so any advice at all would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to reading up on everyone else's set ups and solutions to problems etc, thanks Scott.
