And I'll be damned if the strength isn't 2x better as well. The smoke that is
Sweetcandy isn't really there to help with the bud development like the bud explosion. It's more for the terps I have heard. But hey I have never used it. I can attest to he bud explosion though. Easily 1.5 times the last grow in bud development. With the same strain. I never went above 2.5, but I feed every water, recently been backed off to 2 every water and things settled down. There is no way I could get up to the max feed like they call for
Darn.. missed it..
Sweet Candy is like Epsom + Sugars + Aminos + more K.
I'm still trying to figure all this out -- I probably shouldn't have even started looking into nutrient profiles. It's a huge rabbit hole. My concern (perhaps unfounded) is there is a shitload of K. MegaCrop has very high K. Sweet Candy has a fair amount of K. Bud Explosion has almost 4 times the K -vs- P.
Assuming you run full dose/non-diluted (1.5g CMP, 4g MC, 1g SC, 1g BE), you are around 150-50-275 (elemental ppms). Even if you ditch the CMP you are around 100-50-275.
You can dump it in a jar and then spoon it out. Essentially zero dust in the air that way.Do you guys plan on making something unbthe future to prevent this? I mean soon as i open bag even slowly it goes in the air. Im gonna take a couple small ibuprofin bottles cleaned and put on a mask and tske a few scoops to put in this to knock the dusting down for now
thanks for the response and a way to prevent dusting. Ill continue to share the news to new growers to remove peoduct from original bag and tell them ways like yours and others to prevent inhaling it.You can dump it in a jar and then spoon it out. Essentially zero dust in the air that way.
If needed, make sure there is good ventilation, ideally say a fan drawing away and exhausting air in your area, or just good air movement to dissipate/dilute it in the air quickly. [But I'm lazy and also not concerned about toxicities from wimpy plant fertilizers. I just open the bag carefully, do my best to avoid puffing-up dust, and use a spoon with an extra-long handle.
Regarding safety, hazardous levels, etc. with molydenum (and most every other fertiizer component), keep in mind molydenum and essentially every other plant nutrients are also human nutrients, with essential for humans. It's all a matter of dosage; and I presume plant fertilizers start out with only trace amounts of such trace nutrients.
Perhaps, @Greenleaf Nutrients can reassure us about any known MegaCrop known toxicities (or more likely, lack of them), such as tell us the outcome of presumably somewhere/sometime somebody or a child eating the stuff. I suspect humans can easily handle plant food; that MC is pretty harmless to humans if ingested; with humans easily digesting and metabolizing or excrete simple plant nutrients. I presume you'd have to eat grams and grams of the stuff, and then the worst might be an upset digestive system, need for water, from eating too much salts. [But this is all just my presumptions, not confirmed, not to be trusted until verified].
Plants need more nutrients as they get bigger. If you already have very dark green leaves, then you have a pretty good dose and I wouldn't continue to increase the MC dose.I have a question for you about the feed schedule for megacrop. You have the feed increase into flower, and I want to know why this would be the case. If I increased the feed in flower the girls would get dangerously close to nitrogen toxicity, even at half strength I had dark dark evergreen leaves when I hit full on flower. I had to eventually stop the megacrop for a few feeds and only run the pk booster. If you can give me some insight into the logic behind this, and if maybe I'm not using the product as intended, I would greatly appreciate that!
cool, thanks! We do a lot of hard work to make sure growers can get highest quality grows with low cost! We are already competing price-wise with major agriculture fertilizer companies like Miracle Gro. Eventually fertilizer costs will keep going down until they get close to the cost of the actual ingredients. A lot of "hydroponic nutrient" companies are still charging massive cannabis taxes on their products,we are hoping to lead the way and push the market towards more affordability.I love my MegaCrop. I was looking at cropsalt yesterday, man it made me appreciate what a great value MegaCrop is.
We added some more Amazon stock now!Darn.. missed it..
