So much stuff to growing, I myself, very slow learner, get a lot confused and frustrated, but I learn something new each grow. Hang in there-- listen to all the advice you get from them pro's and have some fun. It might be taking longer, but just think how good it's going to taste when you chop her down! Good luck---

Day 104

I’ve been flushing with RO water ph around 6.5. 1 gal about every 24-36 hours when the pots are light.

I bought some RO today for 25 cents a gallon at one of those pay booth style machines in a nice secluded spot so I could repeat daily if needed without worry. Tested the ph it was at 3.5..... is that normal? Are people drinking water that acidic?

My tap water takes about 3 ml of ph down to lower from 8.0 to 6.0. So I thought I would use about 2 ml and it jumped from 3.5 to 9.8 Lol. Wow touchy stuff I’m not used to that...

They are both fading more now lots nice orange and purples.

The scent is powerful with each plant but a little different odor from each. One resembles a powerful mix of citrus and the stuff they used to clean up puke in school . It’s is strong after touching her. The other is a mix of oranges and candy mixed with a hint of skunky fuel.

Any tips you guys have for harvesting drying and curing I’m all ears. I will be drying in my tent. I planned on chopping the entire plant and letting it dry like that.

Id do a 48 to 72 hour dark period before harvest. For trimming i do a pre wet trim taking off all the big fans and leafs without trichomes then leave the rest and hang the plant in complete darkness in around 70 degrees with 50% RH until the outside leaf crumble and the stems break instead of bend. Then dry trim the rest after its dry. The dry trim preserves the trichomes and terp profile for better flavor and potency. Then jar it in glass mason jars at 75% full and burp the jars a couple times a day for 5-10 mins. I do that for two weeks minimum. Then shes ready for smoke.
Far as the RO water goes are you buying distilled or RO water? RO ph adjusts very very easily for me its one drip per gallon to get to 5.8 for 7.5. Or if you have trouble getting it right mix a little batch of ph adusted water and add until you get to where you want it.

Distilled water has been demonized and throws the ph readings all over the place bc the better can't read it. Did you ever order that stealth liquagen 4 stage TO filer. You can get the 100 gpd for a extra 5 bucks that awesome. It will cost you around 80$ for the system and the fittings. Its a great investment and your plants will be super healthy. My ppm went from 400 to 8. Filters are cheap and last a year or longer depending on use.

@FullAuto245 - Hey man, morning. My under the sink filter, RO, make's my water at 7.8 ph, 0090 ppm? Not sure about that PPM meter yet, just got it. Yes, that ph up & down is very strong! I allway's ph my water to 6.5, start to finish. I also dried my last harvest in my tent, had a 6" fan way down on the bottom of tent pointed to the wall, vent open at bottom, big vent open on top, chopped whole plant, minus the big, mostly dead leave's. hung at top for 6 day's. Zip that tent up and do it. I can smell that good stink from here!
