New Grower New Grower Tangerine Dream

Global warming is a myth.
It is a myth. But my sister is a traveling nurse and was stationed in anchorage alaska. (You can also see European mountains). But she showed me live videos of icebergs melting. Global warming or not. Shits about to go down. And its not for the better. Or maybe it is but we as a species isn't included in the better

Global warming is not a accurate name for it. Yes the earth is getting warmer but it's mostly all about the oceans and the cold fresh water coming from the glaciers causing extreme weather events. Mankind dosent fit in the world's natural order. All other life on earth has a ballence with mother nature and mankind does nothing but destroy and reproduce. I think we are a virus on the universe and the planets are the cells. We invade multiply, destroy and move on.

We pretty much are a virus. only lifeforms I know that will destroy a whole ecosystem, build a building, and call it business

When I see them glaciers that have been frozen for millions of years melting it's amazing and scary at the same time. All that time sitting there frozen and we are watching them melt before our very eyes. I don't think alot of people see the significance in that. All they see it ice melting. Not the fact that it's been sitting there all that time and then boom gone into the ocean. It's crazy. When you see the earth from space you can see how vulnerable our little blue planet is. A little blue ball floating in the endless darkness of space where everything was in ballence with one another until mankind started making changes. But most people don't care. Ignorance is bliss I guees.

Day 100

I have been flushing for a week with just ph tap water. I bought 3 gal. of RO from Wal Mart I'm going to supplement my tap water with in this final week. The ppm's are around 400 for each plant. Hopefully my 350 ppm starting point will be lower after mixing it.

Neither have seemed to really care at all that I have stopped feeding them. They seem to like the tap water just fine lol. Marie is showing random signs of fading while Righty is only showing it on her tiny leaves on the buds. Her fans look exactly the same. Pretty hardy genetics overall after my abuse. I am sick of waiting though please finish up! It feels like the other new growers I started with are on their 2nd-3rd grows already lol.

Trichs are mostly cloudy with a bit of amber and a bit of clear. My temps and humidity have been great I have had my RH around 40 lights on and 50-55 lights off. Temps are 73-75 on and 61-65 off.

I do not have a tds meter either.

how would you know your water is hard ?? or high PPM, very alkaline or slightly acidic Ph ??.......without an Ec meter..??

i would flush the plants now @100 days for 10 days with just bottled water warmed to same temp as root, and Ph'ed to 6.5............ if you could take the Ec reading of some run off water, it would read 4.0 or above for sure.......... hence the chronic salt toxicity burning of the thin sativa leaves.............. she needs a detox before smoking,......... if a harsh throat is to be avoided............. from experiences of my ealy grow outcomes.......... i am also availed of hard tap water.............. white calcification on all surfaces !

No tap water that is pretty hard.

high calcium carbonate levels in feeds water (High Ph), promotes the uptake of nitrogen. This is why the plant at 100 days, is still showing very green leaves. When these should be autumnal colors, at the end of the plants natural life span.......... in addition, the high salt level in hard tap water, after 100 day water input, through the pot, 300ltr? will build salt up in the grow medium, "Elevating" Ph.........

i recommend, if you can, to use bottles water, for your grows, as you did not get the RO filter posted earlier in the thread............... the good thing about having hard tap water is, if you do get an RO filter, you can use the hard tap water to buffer the RO to 250ppm................. your tap water will be 550ppm if very hard.............. that a halving of un usable, salt going into the grow medium..................... ALR

So much stuff to growing, I myself, very slow learner, get a lot confused and frustrated, but I learn something new each grow. Hang in there-- listen to all the advice you get from them pro's and have some fun. It might be taking longer, but just think how good it's going to taste when you chop her down! Good luck---:jointman:
