Hi all! Sorry I haven’t been around, so much going on here. Fullauto looks like you’ve got quite the green thumb, your plants look incredible. They remind me of my Growers Choice girls — every time I took a leaf, 3 grew back!
I bet you are getting the idea what I’m talking about. If you don’t remove a ton all at once, or a few every time you look at the plant, she will reach out and swallow you. I was behind the eight ball all the time. A few times, I did take too many leaves, but then a week later it seemed they all grew back. Do the best you can. At a certain point they stop growing new leaves, it seemed to coincide with the end of the stretch — and then you have to be real careful what you take. I took too much from GG, but learned my lesson and corrected with the NLs. Tangerine Dream has a lot more indica in her, they grow bushy with leaves.
My tap water comes in at 360 ppm of crap the ladies probably can’t use. It is chlorinated. Worse than chlorine though is chloramine — that won’t air off if you leave it to sit. Man O Green clued me in to dosing my tap water at 50mg per gallon with powdered ascorbic acid — dirt cheap on Amazon, and that fixed the chlorine/chloramine potential issues. He also suggested I dilute my tap water half and half with pure 0 ppm RO water. I get refills at the corner store for 39 cents a gallon. So I end up giving them half and half with a starting ppm of 180. In a pinch though — straight tap. No issues. At one point, I tried to go straight RO and had poor results though, voodoo pH values, kept recalibrating the meters thought the readings were off kind of thing, so I went back to half and half.
I love the GH Flora series line. Very simple to understand and adjust, predictable results. Used the entire lineup until I switched to Megacrop. Still use the diamond nectar. Not entirely happy with the MC either, not convinced, may yet return to GH still have plenty of product.
Anyways sorry to be long winded, everything looks to be going great.
