hello there,
New grower here just looking for some professional input/advice.
I’m growing sour diesel autoflower from msnl. Growing in a small greenhouse, 3 gal pots, fox farm ocean forest soil and roots organic nutrients. Everything seems to be going smooth but I just feel like they are very slow and are taking longer than I would have thought, maybe I’m crazy. Don’t know the exact date I started them but think they popped out around November 1st. Does it look like I’ll get a decent crop? My next run will be a more indica dominant strain, don’t like the lengthyness of this strain. I will continue to update this post as a journal from here and will do a complete one on the next round. The first pics are the most current taken yesterday. I have pics of the whole grow I’ll post as well

Hey thanks for the response, checked out the links. I have been lurking a bit here. Trying to keep this first one simple and go from there. I’m thinking these will go beyond the 10 week mark for sure, I hope so too, they don’t have too much bud yet. Is it typical to go weeks beyond the 10 week mark?

pretty much all the estimites on finishing times are a pack of lies, some just exaggerate it by 2 weeks, the odd one will be spot on :eyebrows:
lots of top info in the green stickie threads at the top of each section.
good luck n keep er lit.

IMO you lights are either too high or not intense enough, plants are too stretchy for my liking but they should be fine. In future grows give em more light, however be careful here and ensure to avoid light burn. Sometimes its a fine line on how much or how high the light should be and it is strain dependent..... Some strains want to be blasted with strong lights while others get pissed off....

Hey there,
These are outdoor in a small greenhouse. I’m in north county San Diego, they get a good amount of sun, I really think the genes may not be the best in these seeds, I should have done more research on the seeds. All the other grow journals I have found of this particular strain seem to have similar results. I may be getting an indoor set up in the near future

Then they don't seem to be getting enough direct sun. I love growing under the sun... Genetics do play a role, and Sativa strains tend to grow like this, but again to my eyes they seem to be needing more light, though they still look nice, the 1st three images in your original post look very good.

Noted. Maybe I can move them to a better spot, though I’m kind of limited on that. Yeah the first three are the most current so that’s good!
Didn’t have high expectations the first round anyway so I’ll be happy at the end either way, just trying to make the best of what I’ve got at this point

I’m a new grower as well, hope to be harvesting for the first time in the next month. I have a sour diesel seed from Dinafem I’m going to plant next grow. Congratulations on your first grow, you’ve done great. Nice looking ladies.
