This is my very first grow ever. And kinda need alil help on finishing my set up and what to expect... First off im running a 2000 watt growstar led and a rdwc system with 4 auto northern lights from seedman. My res is a 30 gallon tote and the other two are 20 gallon. Ive attached pics. So i guess my first question is what size gph pump should i be running to circulate this thing.? Thanks and happy smokin. Super excited for this!!!!!

I know a lot about DWC it's my favorite way to grow I just stop for summer bc res temps are hard to maintain.make sure u use hydroguard you'll need it for root protection and make sure your res temps are around 68-72 degrees if possible

Awsome ... Thanks bignugz420 ... Yes i plan on ordering a chiller to help with temps
Chiller are expensive. For a 1/4 horsepower you spend a lot and it doesn't spit out to much cold water. I also don't ruN RDWC just DWC

It is a little labor intensive, but effective and cheap,...freeze small plastic containers filled with water(I used one liter bottles) and change them out once or twice a day to keep rez temps in check. That has worked well for me for years. No chiller needed. Pain in the butt to do every day, but cheap!

BTW easy to figure out if you want to go the cheap way, how much you need. Just start with a two liter bottle in your 30 gal res and test it. Put solution in there and leave it 24 hours so it heats up, then put your two liter bottle in. Check the res in a couple hours and see what the temps are. Check it a few times and see how long it keeps it cool. You will be able to figure out a rough idea of what you need. I just put the liter bottles in, in the morning, and before I go to bed every day.

Have fun! It's a labor of love man.
