New grower needs help deciding when to chop.

Hey all, so I am not really sure if my plant matured too fast or what, but it is only on day 57 and has some amber trichomes. She is short and squat. From the top of the main cola to the soil she is about as tall as a milk carton. Her pistils are turning orange and id say about 50% are. I feel like I would be harvesting early if I harvested in the next week. There is a lot of bud that is below the main canopy that is undeveloped with all-white pistils. At least 50% of my harvest will be underdeveloped. It is so compact I would have to cut leaves off the buds to get more light below. What should I do? Should I trim everything I can out and hope the buds start ripening better? My first plant so I am new to harvesting anyways. I feel like this makes it tougher for me to determine.

You can do a staggered harvest, so the less developed buds can continue putting on weight. I don't check my trichomes on leaves or edges, just the bud parts.

So not even on the sugar leaves close to the buds? What about mass defoliating all the fan leaves I can find? Are they still being used at this stage?

This plant has at least a couple of weeks to go. That's based on the bud formation. When the plant is mature, the pistils will turn broem, shrink, and curl inward. These pistils are still long, and mostly still white. Whether the plant is using the fan leaves depends on what and how you are feeding the plant/soil.
