New Grower- Auto BD & Auto LSD

Hey folks,

new grower here. I have germinated some seed from MSNL with 100% results. 2 of each. Had them in my wardrobe for 2 weeks under two 55w T5 lights for roughly 16 of light a day, with some outside time during the day.
Have been watering with spray bottle of 24hr tap water with 1ml/L of rhizotonic.
At start of second week started with Nutes at 1ml/L of Canna Terra Vega and 1ml of rhizotonic giving plant about 250ml each.
Two never really got going as far as root system went and fell over so ripped them.
The other two are doing okay but very small in size. Look healthy but only two sets of true leaves and they are 15 days old.
They are in 15L pots from germination. Soil mix is organic compost, peat moss, perlite, and vermiculite mixed at 3x3x2x1
Any tips on what I’m doing wrong, surely they should be bigger than that by this stage.
Have moved two remaining ones outside into greenhouse for good.

Soil maybe a bit to hot I've had this happen and it's hard bc it's not enough to burn them and it could also be strain related I've had a few plants take 120days from seed. I've also seen ph issues so I would say you need some tools like a soil ph meter this don't cheap out on same for the water ph meter it's important to get quality as that's wat it will give you. Try picking up the pot is it super light if so water with 100mls to 150mls of water and see wat happens.

Should I up the Nutes and water to run off? Plants now have 3 sets of true leaves. On the small side for 20 days old I would imagine. Plants still seem quite flimsy with not much of a root base.
Can you recommend a good water ph meter and soil meter too?
Soaking some seeds now and going to sow in 70/30 coco/perlite mix this time around and compare

Ph pens blue labs and Apera ph20 model is the one I have and jave had for 4yrs now and I love it no solution is needed for storage if rinsed and used daily. Now as far as feeding goes ya up it by day 10 u should be @ 200ppm or so do you have a tds meter if not you really need 1 if growing hydro which is wat coco is and yes I would saturate the pot with 500ml to 750ml of ur feed mix otherwise I think ur doing fine

Ph pens blue labs and Apera ph20 model is the one I have and jave had for 4yrs now and I love it no solution is needed for storage if rinsed and used daily. Now as far as feeding goes ya up it by day 10 u should be @ 200ppm or so do you have a tds meter if not you really need 1 if growing hydro which is wat coco is and yes I would saturate the pot with 500ml to 750ml of ur feed mix otherwise I think ur doing fine

I’ll look into those pens mate, cheers. Not growing hydroponically, plants are outside in a little greenhouse. 21 days old today and look okay, but surely stunted.
Went to a local hydro shop and the bloke in their suggested I grow autos outside in 70/30 perlite mix in big 25 litre pots. Is that not the go? I’ll give them more feed mix this time. Running 1.5 ml/L each of rhizotonic and terra Vega.
If growing outside, is all I need to worry about the ph of the water and ec?

Growing outdoors dude. Won’t need to worry about the stench at this stage if these plants don’t get going Definitely thinking of going for a tent, seems easier to control the parameters a bit more than Mother Nature. Will see how these next couple of seeds go. Going to start them in cups with peat and transplant. Might be easier to control watering

So coco is considered hydro it's not full hydro but everything is set up add works the same also don't listen to that guy autos will do fine outdoors but generally for new growers indoor is easier and as for pot size it's not a big deal as far as they will grow bit the smaller they are the faster they dry and the bigger the pot generally the larger the yield but also the chop time can be effected especially outdoors.

he wasn’t saying autos are no good outside, he said they will crank outside it’s just Mother Nature can be a bitch and play havoc a bit.
I got a ph meter today and discovered my tap water at home is pushing 7.4 which may have something to do with the plant being stunted.
Have bought some ph down also as I was told the rhizotonic can up the ph.
Will germinate these next couple of seeds and start a diary I think and be more precise with things moving forward

Well,

After a first round fail, I’m back at it again with a new setup.
Went with a Spider Farmer sf2000 full kit. It’s in the spare room which the missus isn’t too happy about, but will move into the garage out the back once it gets built in the new year.
Temps are a bit high on average 25-30 degrees, but the RH is pretty steady around 45-50%.
Running an Amnesia Haze auto at the moment as a couple of the other autos I popped at the same time didn’t make the cut.
Not sure what day she is at, but at a guess around 40 days or so. By the looks she is in pre flower so I have stopped the veg nutes and have been feeding flower nutes and some rock resinator.
Feeding 2ml/L each of Canna Vega Flores and 2ml/L of Rock Resinator. Total EC is 1.1 PH between 6.0-6.4
Feeding every 48 hours or so or when pot feels light. Feeding PH’d water in between feeds.
I think I’m doing alright for my first run, any tips or advice welcome.
Just popped 3 auto beans to put in tent to fill her up a bit. This was a bit of a dummy run to suss out light and tent etc.
Light is at 100% 18” from the top of canopy.
