Day 23 . Started lst both babies last night and everything seems fine. I realised theres a few white hair coming off the bluematic, i assume that its a female? Correct me if i am wrong.

Nice! Yep female plants produce the white hairs. It is just showing its sex that's all. Nice LST. When the side branches grow out it will be easy for you to tie them down now and the longest side stem you should be able to tie it down in the opposite direction of the main stem. Just make sure you don't put a strong fan on the plant because it can seriously strengthen your stems to a point where it becomes unbendable and makes LST difficult. A gentle breeze will do the trick.

Cool mate. Thanks for letting me know about the longest side stem. Will tie them down later. Yea they are having a gentle breeze all these while. Can't wait for the amnesia haze to show its sex as well, wouldnt take long from now hopefully. Lol

The reason for lst is to keep the plant low incase you run out of vertical space it also increase's the yield if done like this..

It can also be used to create a level (in this case, horizontal) canopy which allows for more equal light dispersion. Tying down the main stem also produces a flood of auxins, which are hormones that regulate plant growth which cause elongation of cells in the shoots. In laymen terms, that means all of your side branching gets a MASSIVE boost in growth while the main stem stays down. This makes for bushier plants (and potentially more cola buds if that's your thing,) and tends to help keep the overall height down.

I like using fuzzy pipe cleaners to LST myself! Slow and gentle! Emphasis on the Low Stress!
