They all look normal.. Typical growth rates for seedlings, is one set of leaves a week.. If you germed on the 2nd (2 weeks ago), the seedlings should be on, or working on their 2nd set of leaves, which they are.

Thanks! Appreciate the info. Waiting on ph tester in the mail hopefully help feeding this setup easier in the future.

Hi, and good luck with the grow. They look fine so far. Keep in mind that promix is not soil, it is a soiless medium so you need to choose nutes accordingly. Maybe not as fussy as coco, but still not soil.

Thanks for the info :)
I was told by a local shop that flora nova grow and bloom were best option for no fuss. Should I be adding nutes every watering when using Promix?

I don't know anything about Flora Nova, but as long as your grow shop knows that it is good for hydroponics, you should be good. If you are interested, you can likely get a free 500g sample of Megacrop if you buy a small bag of CalMag Pro which you may need anyway, and the freebie should cover you for a grow or two. If you like MC, you can buy more, if not, the Cal Mag Pro will not go to waste, and the MC was free.

As to the watering regime, I would apply nutes every time, but keep your nutes thin initially and increase gradually as your plants respond. I have been told that Promix HP has a small amount of nutes in it for initial growth, so unlike coco you do not need to feed right away. Others on here use Promix for inside grows, so you may get more relevant info. from them. I apologize that I can't recall exactly who the Promix gurus are or I would tag them for you. I have only used promix in sip containers outdoors, and it worked a treat. You still need to keep on top of pH with promix, so get yourself a meter if you don't have one. At minimum, get the ph strips or drops which should be available at your local shop. You might find an EC/PPM meter handy for mixing nutes consistently and testing runoff if you run into issues later.

Good luck with your grow, and don't hesitate to ask for help or advice. :goodluck:

You should be feeding based on the "plants needs" and it's response to your current feeding schedule.. That is the only accurate way to feed.. If you do add nutrients with every watering, you will end up needing to flush prior to flower, or possibly sooner, due to a lock out caused by excess nutrients or salt build up.. If you look closely at your seedlings right now, you can see that they already have a dark green color to them.. Which tells me they are getting fed pretty well right now. Plus, it's A LOT easier to add a nutrient to fix a deficiency than it is to remove a nutrient to fix an excess.. Less is always more when it comes to feeding nutrients. Most people use the FWWF schedule.. Feed. Plain water, plain water, then feed again.

Thanks everyone for all the tips! Looking forward to seeing how these autos turn out. I will try the FWWF schedule until I see the demand for more :)
