The plants really look great! There are different opinions on molasses.

It feeds the micro's and helps break down the nutrients so they're more available to the plant, from what I understand. It also has cal/mag in it (not a lot). Not sure what else it does.

I use it during the final two weeks flush. Some use it every watering. I don't think there is one definitive answer to your question.

I don't really bother with the molasses but i'd like to advise you to go easy on your feeding, maybe not give them full strength yet. go for half or querter the strength that is recommended. if you overfeed them at this stage they will stunt.

yeah so far only 2 have shown sex, but the others should be along shortly. i'm going to do a quarter feedings for a week and then 1/2 and so on, until its full strength, and by then they will be getting flushed, tonight will be the first of the 1/4 strength feedings, I also changed my 2 cfls from 5000k to some 2700k cfl, I also have 2 48" fluro tubes that are 6500k, in the next week one of them will be changed to 2700k, I'm going to keep one 6500 tube in there to keep the blue spectrum in the room, supposed to help with the thc production.

molasses wont hurt a 1/4 tsp a lite (disolve in boiling water first) of water as a one off per week preps the microlife theres very little NPK so it does not hurt in organics

WEEK 1 UPDATE PICS

Things are moving along, they are getting their second sets of leaves on and seem to be doing very well
as far as my number one plant being much farther along than the others has stoped they have all caught up and one is even larger than number one

I'm growing an auto Fast Bud also, but mine, after week one, hasn't reached the same development. The first set of leaves is yet forming so, nice work!

To keep up with the journal so everyone can see how much growth in the last 3 weeks that they have had is crazy.
There are so obviously 2 different phenos here two of the has a very pungent sour diesel smell, and the other 2 have an almost minty and creamy smell to them, strange enough the 2 on the right are the diesel and the 2 on the left are the mint/cream. Another thing I found strange was that in each pair one is short and squaty and one is taller and a bit more lanky. In my pics you will see that I have the short ones on paint buckets.

I almost didn't post them, the pics were kinda crappy and you can barely see the pistils coming out. but here they are.

these pics were taken on september 27 which was mid week of week 7, in the 3 weeks between the sept 9 pics and these from sept 27th, the growth and bud formation has been pretty quick, i'm just sad that I've only had CFLs to grow them up with, but all in all I'm happy with them.

WEEK 8 update

we are on Tuesday of week 8 and things are looking really good, 2 maybe 3 are looking like they might be damn close to harvest in a week or so and then the other 2 looks like they might go 10-12 weeks, which the time line I was seeing on this particular strain was that they can finish anywhere from 7-11 weeks and maybe even longer. but I'm happy with the outcome so far, They just got started on a clear water diet for the remainder of their time. last week was the last feeding of full strength bloom nutes. I have also upgraded my light to a 300w equiv. CFL that is 2700k. only about 85w actual along with a single 100w equiv. 23w actual 2700k cfl for my upcoming grows I plan on going to either a 250 or 400 hps.

Update, so far 2 plants have been cut down, 1 tall 1 short the had all orange/brownish hairs and quite a few amber headed trichs. today was day 3 of them hanging so in to the jars they went, only after I try some for myself.

The aroma is heavy sour with a fuel smell, likewise with the taste but a earthy finish on the exhale, clean and clear headed at first then into an intense body stone. very good for my medical uses.

so far there are 2 more still standing, they look like they might go a couple weeks.

oh if u were wondering, i got a GRAND TOTAL from 2 plants. .... 5 grams, yes FIVE grams, :*( but have no fear, i update to 600 watt hps next week, and should be off and running and continuing doing some more grow journals.
