OK so I am not new to growing AF's, or plants as a whole, but I am new to this forum and new to breeding. I was recently given 5 AF white widow and 5 AF Amnesia Haze, they said they were from Nirvana. As a first time breeder should I expect any problems with crossing these 2 plants? I understand how to reverse one of them so I can get pollen to "hook up" the other plant but which one should I reverse and which one would I "hook up" with it? I am starting the planning stages now and the grow will be a US southern winter greenhouse aquaponics grow.

I hope I am not to big of a newb with these questions and thanks for any help.

Dose not matter what one you reverse. Honestly it is best to use regular seeds over fem though. Your F1 generation will be some what uniform but you have no control. If you use regular seeds you can go a few generations out and try to breed for the traits your looking for. I use at least one parent that's regular so I end up with regular seeds.

@Joe383 with this being my first attempt at breeding different strains, and I got the beans for free, I figured I would start with these and if I mess them up no biggie. After this run I will be using the seeds I have, which are photo plants, to cross into a new and interesting strain for my personal stash.

You can cross them no problem, and you will retain the auto gene, where as crossing out to a photoperiod it will take at least two generations past that point to bring back that recessive gene, if wanting autos anyways, but just pick the ones you like the best, and go from there, a tip though run the ones that you will be reversing a good two to three+ weeks ahead of the ones that will be your mothers, as reversing takes a bit of time and you will want to pollinate your plants when they still have a good 4+ weeks left.

Thank you for the info. I will run a grow log when I start.

Which plant's traits do you want to be dominant? I'd pollinate a couple branch on one of each plant and create both crosses. 6-7 weeks for seed to ripen, then you need to dry the buds, get them good and dry. Store the seeds in a cool, dry, place for 4 weeks at least, the seeds need that time to finish drying and ripening. Put a desiccant pack in with them to help keep them dry
