Hey there!

Go for COB lights. Cheaper, more efficient, use less energy. And if you're handy, you can put one together by yourself. [emoji106] [emoji6]

@Eclectic Elle just put one together by herself.

Hello , I would start off 1/4 strength on day 7 , then work up to 1/2 on next feeding then 3/4 so on ... hope this helps
Yup, I start at 350 ppm around day 7 to 10. And I don't feed again until I see the ppm going down. My rule of thumb is 450 ppm for veg, 850/900 in bloom.

@Itisi grows in a loft, too. And he's in the UK, too. So is @Eclectic Elle. Lots of awesome Brits here! [emoji121] [emoji6] [emoji106] [emoji108]

Yes there are a few Brits here! I've only done grows in compost before, with limited success, but I'm moving on to hydro so I don't have any helpful advice. I've not grown under blurple at all - my last lights were CFL in a home made reflector - but there are a couple of cob kits on ebay if you're interested. There's a guy in Sweden that sells a kit for five lights for example. Just do a search for cob kit under the Garden section. It's overkill for what you have now but it gives you an idea - I'm starting with ONE cob light in a 120 x 80 x 180 tent.
:vibes: man!

Thanks people will take onboard everything u are all saying an will look in to cob lights but will keep u all up to date think I need some cal mag as there a tiny little bit of rust colour coming on the leaf only a little but will sort that stright away hopefully will try hydro at some point in the future lol
