Indoor NEW AND NEED HELP!!!

Hi all, I have recently built a cupboard, roughly 150cm's tall etc... fits five 8L buckets in it. Anyways I have only got a 400W HPS light cause im tight for cash. I have just germinated my fast bud seeds (hopefully) and i have covered them with clear plastic to make a humidity dome to start off with... i have 3 fans in the back 2 blowing air in and 1 blowing air out, but i have noticed that the temp is reaching 40 degress C. whats should i do? open the door when the light is on or will it be ok? Also what other strain can i get that would be heat resistant? i heard lowryder 2 is good???
I just want it to work haha... im dying for it.... i have the light around 60cm's above the pots so its not hot on the back of my hand when testing.... so anyone help please......

if i could get some pictures of the setup i could be of much more help. Sounds like you need better fans. What fan sizes are you running for the ventilation?

40 is pretty high mate. 35 is warm but a better number. My room runs at 32 during the summer with a 600.

Temps are going to be your nemesis with a 400 in there. So anything you can do to cool things down, you should be doing.

hey all, there is no reflectors, the fans are only little... so you think if i open the door it should lower the temp? is it too late now or will the seeds be still ok? well if i can find a cheap light what wattage do u recommend for my small grow? i wanna stick with HPS or MH... what ya think? less then 300? or should i just install more fans blowing in and out or just open the door?

What if i piss off the cabnet and buy a cheap grow tent? would that be better? also still about the lights... what wattage do u think? i dont want to change bulbs etc just use one light from seed to bud... if i have to piss the 400w HPS then so be it.. just let me know what would be best wattage and either HPS or MH etc... also about the tent.... another thing. cause this is my very first grow, what auto do u think would best suit me that will grow easily so i can work it out.... i heard LOWRYDER and FAST BUDS but i wanna hear what u people think..

If I was you I would try to get a CMH light. They range from 150 watt to 400. They can run veg and flower and are much cooler than HPS or MH.

but what wattage???? i am thinking i should by a tent, prob much better and easier? also i think tent will be easier to keep at a good temp? what ya think?

what about this " 250W HPS LIGHTING KIT AIR COOLED REFLECTOR W 120MM FAN" or would a 25w still push out too much hot air? i noticed it had a fan built into it? well i think i might buy a tent it like 80cm x 80cm x 2m. what wattage light does anyone think would be purfect for that so it stays at a comfortable temp?? please help guys info
