Hi All,
This is my first outdoor and auto grow, as in I've never grown outdoor or with autos before, but I'm quietly optimistic.
So right now I have 1 Mohan Ram auto (sweet seeds) in the greenhouse, who is just starting to show herself, and 1 royal queen Northern Light auto also in the greenhouse but has shown nothing yet. I soaked them in water overnight and planted them straight into their final resting place (11l pots) about 5-7 days ago. you will see that I am rather rubbish with dates, but if people actually follow this I'll get a calender and be a bit more accurate.
Anyway, last night I planted 1 lowryder #2, an Easy Ryder and a Diesel Ryder into roughly half litre pots and soaked them till they all sank which was about 24 hours. The MR and NL both sank after being left overnight. To my delight they had all cracked and were showing little white radicals, HURRAY! So brownie points for the Joint Dr. BTW the diesel and easy ryder are for a friend so I will only be keeping the Lowryder #2. Was going to grow the others but apparently they stink.
Sweet Seeds say they hand pick all the seeds and honestly you can see the difference. All the 3 MR seeds I got are bigger and darker than any of the other seeds I have, or have had before. Really pleasant to look at actually. The Joint Dr seeds also looked pretty good and the NL auto looked fine but a bit lighter and smaller than any of the others. This tends to be the case with Royal Queen in my experience, though I've had great results with their seeds/strains before.
I am growing mostly organically using bio canna nutes (big bloom and flores) as well as their non organic rhizotonic (the only non organic aspect) as it's meant to be considerably better than the bio version. I am using plagron royalty mix and putting a section of grow mix in the middle of the 11l pots I sowed straight into to avoid burning the seedlings. I have a wort aerator, because I'm a homebrewer, which I'm using to oxygenate my water.
That's pretty much it for now. No pics yet because there's very little to take pics of, but I intend to make this thread as pornographic as possible once things get going.
Oh yeah, I mentioned Santa (flash seeds) in the title because I ordered 3 a couple of nights ago and will get them in the soil asap.
