I know the paper towel method works great also. It is even better with a heating pad. It is just more work and I am a ;lazy grower give me the easy way every time.

I don't think they have it outside America :smokebuds: Nothing to celebrate for the rest of the world. Here on Halloween it's weird if you DO get a knock at the door.
I used to used the soak in water and/or wet paper towel methods but of late, having more luck with direct into watered down pot and leave in grow room. Great germ rate! might get me one of those humidity/germing boxes.

I sometimes sew the outdoor ones directly in soil myself especially if seed in plentiful. If I do that I usually just double seed each pot. I think heat is the key. If the grow room is warm the germination rate is very good. Of course I have to germ in Jiffy pucks if the seeds are going into hydro tank no one wants a lot of debris in the tank.

In Canada we get to celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving and then if that is not enough turkey and pumpkin pie you can just do it again on the American Thanksgiving. After all my wife is an American.
