Hey everyone - isn't this the best place to be? Everyone funny and friendly. I've still not posted a image of the magnet magnetite water container. Reason being I had three plants die over night with phosphorus lockout. Now I started four kush plants outdoors summertime UK. They was bought inside late September and died late October. I think it was due to leaving the air intake fans on and they suffered a cold night. Another reason could be the magnets is raising the alkaline levels up (ph). I've not a ph pen to test this. However, the sole survivor lived on to produce 5.5 zips

Anyone heard of India farmers boosting their crops with oxytocin ? Forgot to mention - I've sprayed my riot cubes with oxytocin before planting. I hope oxytocin doesn't reverse their sex. It's all a gamble here.

Day 25. I've cleaned my fish tank out and used the water to feed these plants. They love it. I've not been keeping up with the pulse tone each day. It's a high pitch screech thats driving the household nuts :-) okay DWC growers.. You heavily oxygenate your nutrient formulas. Oxygen is a flammable gas. So please do not use a static spark generator anywhere near your plants. I am using soil and applying zero air to my water. The last thing we need is a bright spark with a dwc plan..

Wait!! what??
Is this something similar to the vortex coil??
:coffee2:

As a long time fish keeper, im curious about the nutrients in aquarium water. Ive run some tests using it to water a strawberry patch and had mixed results. I watered only half the patch and half the patch I was watering died. The plants that survived grew noticably larger than the "natural" side both plants and fruit. Not sure if it was the nutrients, extra water, or extra space from killing half. I also have no idea how npk numbers relate to ppm, but I know my tanks are 10-30ppm nitrate. Idk if thats high or low for plants, but id love to see the results, im too afraid to try myself. Though I have grown many gorgeous aquatic and semi aquatic plants in my day and was very close to setting up an aquaponic lettuce and tilapia farm just to see if I could.

Cool thread ill be following this closely. Also when you talk about not adding oxygen to mixtures, are you talking about adding bottled O2 to nutrients? Adding an air pump and stone seems very common but I dont see how that could cause any issues unless im missing something. I have seen pressurized co2 used but not pressurized o2

I've found after the third week its best to give them one dose of fish water. Its got the needed nitrogen and nitrates. It's only good for the stretch side of the grow. So with the bloom of strawberries or MJ, it's no good. Look into dual zone aquponics. They've started ways of growing with aquaponics throughout the whole grow. I love the ancient techniques - I will have a pyramid next lol

Adding air to water creates oxygen. You could ionise the water and split the water of its hydrogen and oxygen gases. One side becomes "acidic" and the other side "alkaline". Water is a endless learning curve. Get on that curve my man :)
