Yes that will work. its doesn't matter how you tie them down or what with just make sure you get the top of hte plan parallell with the ground and every couple day the tip will turn back up and reach for the light. at this point to bend her around and tie her tip down again. I know alot of people who use ground wire (green) from home depot. heavy and flexable. make sure to always keep the tip below all the side branches and you'll get those many colas.
