New Grower Need help with my first grow...

Fantastic portrayal of resiliency and persistence in the face of great adversity.

Very inspirational.

DAY 38 (61)

Feeding: 17ml per Gallon Coco A+B

Pushed them a little too hard and have what I believe is nute burn on a couple fan tips...like maybe 2 or 3. Will feed them 16ml per gallon later today. Also switched from MH to HPS.
Question, I have some dying leaves on the bottom of all 3 plants, probably caused by splashing when I feed them...should I trim them off or just leave them alone?
How do they look? I took them out of the tent today so I could switch bulbs...

i would not remove any leaves if they dont fell off or dried out crispy, as long as they stay there they will provide something to the plant.

Thanks CC!! Means a lot hearing that!!
VincentHei, thanks for the advice. I'll go w/ the whole L.I.T.F.A philosophy! lol

Ok, my new problem...SMELL!! So I added a VanTech 4" Carbon Filter to my set up. Problem is I can't seem to seal the connection from either side of my air-cooled hood. I have it set up as follows... 4" carbon filter>>4" dryer ducting>>4" to 6" reducer>>6" rigid ducting>>6" Air-Cooled Hood>>6" to 4" reducer>>4" dryer ducting>>4" inline fan>>4" ducting going out of tent.
All connections seem airtight except for the connection to and from the Air-cooled hood...I put a bunch a duct tape that will work for a few hours, then it start to stink again...
I have negative pressure..i can take a small piece of paper and it will stick to the passive intake. I can take same paper and put it up to the Carbon filter and it will stick too, so it is sucking!! Pun intended! (-;
As you can see in the pics the one side is 4" to 6" reducer>>6" rigid ducting>6" air-cooled hood(duct taped over..what a mess). Hardware store only had 6" rigid ducting. And on the fan side I have the reducer clamped directly to the hood.
Thank for any suggestions, as this is critical to my stealth grow!!

Put your filter after your fan on the outside of the tent that's what I would try

I'd move the fan outside the tent and see if you can shorten the ducting to the minimum needed. I'm not going to say filter after fan is wrong, but it definitely isn't the way they're designed to operate.

It's how mine has run since I installed it couple years ago
suck or blow it's moving the same amount of air

Plus one for this reply! - I've always had to have my fan and filter outside my box! It works fine. :)

Sniper for the win! lmao! Thanks everyone, just moved the filter to the outside of my tent and closed the doors in the room the tent is in. After an hour lunch I will go back in for a smell test....
Looks like I was going to have to move the filter anyway because for more vertical space.
