Grow Mediums Nebula Cheese + Alien RDWC Pro (55l pots)

easy Bro...

Have only just found you here in the Hydro section.
Man- what can i say- your room is really taking it to the next level..
Im sure there are a fair few envious onlookers. Looks like you've found the sweet spot with your system- always bound to encounter some teething problems with such a beast.

but seems like it might now be time to strap on the seatbelt and prepare for liftoff. :goodluck:

Lift off indeed ! Going to be a sight to behold. Like dirtbag said a project of this magnitude is always going to take more time to get right. But boy it sure looks worth the effort now.

Thanks Dirtbag & Bunny, welcome aboard :)
Into 12/12 now, so just waiting for those buds to pop.
The room is filling out nicely. Im keeping the tea going every few days and all is stable and well.
Long may it continue.

Finally a couple of pictures with the lights off.
As the clocks changed I had to go in and do some re-setting.

Dare I be a bit optimistic?
Fuck it why not... Whats the worst that can happen.
If I kill everything I will only start over.... This growing lark can be such an head fuck.
I know we all want to do well but when things go tits up I take it badly. Really this is my first ever RDWC, so I should be a bit easier on myself.

(thats me drawing a line under the whole neg thing)

So with that, lets get back to being positive :)
FUCK ME HAVE YOU SEEN THAT ROOM SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There bushing up nicely now, stinking to high heaven but they stunk from clones.
God knows what its going to be like when the donkey kong babies arm buds arrive :)

Just given my ladies a 50 litre drink of tea and they had a little sprinkle of myco fungi powder on there roots for good luck.
Ive got some new info (new to me) on brewing tea. Found a great place in the UK that sells everything you need and the owner is super helpful and positive!
I will write this up another day, Ive got reading to catch up on first.

Peace :tiphat:

My ladies are filling out nicely.
This is going to be a carpet of green any day now.

Damn it is starting to be like a jungle out there! I bet you are going to have difficulty walking between those babies soon. Dehumidifier could be really smart investment to keep the RH at maximum 50% at this stage. Less humidity would increase the resin production some.

They are doing just fine with EC of 1.2 at this stage? Still just a little in the mild side of fertilizing if you ask me. Better that though than too strong and if there is no sign of defiencies that is great! I bet this strain does not require too much of stuff then. Maybe at tops of 1.4 ec in a whole cycle?

Anyway man, looking great! Leaves any of my grows to shame. Keep up the good work! :Cool bud:

Rain Forest Vibes in there! This is going to be a treat to watch. Is going to be incredible walking through there in a few weeks.

HEY!!!!! Hello people :)

Thanks Med, yea Im not sure about EC levels. I was hovering around 1.0 for a while but noticed the new growth being lime green in colour.
Ive not grown enough to know if thats normal or not. As there was no sign of over fert I thought I would go up a bit.
I might go up further to 1.4 as you say.

Im due to change out the res, its been a couple of weeks. Not really sure how often this is supposed to be done. I know with single small pots folks change them out every week.
Ive got 900 litres of water in total so never really look forward to dumping it all. Things are looking good, so Im reluctant to change anything. I have read some people using this Alien system have never changed the res. Just kept filling it up... Any thoughts?

Going to buy 2 dehumidifiers, one for each end of the room. Also Ive got 2 small electric oil rads to go in. I think I need to raise my lights off temps just a little.
Everything is super stable at the moment, Im still nervous but hopeful I can land this first RDWC fish without any further problems :)

Thanks Bunny, man the smell is crazy already!! Everyday it gets more and more.. I need a Heisenburge style yellow romper suit to change into. I walk in there at night in my jim jams and stink like a skunk all night in bed - Marvellous I think, although Mrs True does not agree :)

I don't want to talk too much about my own grow all the time, especially when I am not even journaling it but just as an really interesting point; I am currently growing DP's Ultimate and they have now had their first week of flowering. My EC with them was 1.2 just a week ago and I started getting so much of pale green leaves and magnesium defiency so I bumbed the EC up to 1.5 and fed more calmag. After some days no sign of overfertilization and new growt still pale. Now I set it up to 1.7 EC !!! It is crazy how much it wants nutes.

What I have learned here is that optimal EC is so strain -specific thing and if your babies are happy with 1.2 EC, keep it. Or if you end up raising it soon, just keep checking those leaf tips often.

Classic dehumidifiers can heat up your room just a notch, by the way. If you can find it, Vortice Deumido E20 does have really good efficiency-rate with how much it comsumes electricity and how it performs. Just about 380w of power and does the job while staying neat and quiet. 5,5 litres watertank is awesome plus, do not have to empty it all the time like with some models.
