I wanted to do a thread from the beginning unlike my first thread here that started mid in. But with work, kid's and some sad news I did not have the time to do it. But anyway here it is.
I got a complete used tent with all the gear really cheap from a guy giving up growing.
Just the 2 Bluelab pens was worth the price.
Reflector with 200w cfl bulbs, one for grow and one for flowering .
Aircooled tube with mh and hps bulbs and a 250w ballast.
Fan with regulator and carbonfilter.
Tent is 60x60x200
And a lot of ventilation tubes, nutes, ph up and down.
I have 20 AK47 seeds from Norden seeds and put 2 of them in a glass of water and put them a warm place. They cracked after 10 hours.
I mixed just some normal plant dirt from my local shop with perlite and used two 10 litres buckets that I drilled lots of holes in. One seed came just after 3 days but the other had problems getting out of the dirt and eventually I had to help it out. The top looked yellow and I did not think it would survive, but it did. After the troublesome birth the plant did not grow so fast as the other but I let it live to see if it would be better.
Both did grow good for a week but since the weather here is getting colder I had problems getting the temp up
in the tent so I put one cfl in there together with the 250w mh.
Last night I went up to check on them and discovered that the fan tube has gotten loose from the carbonfilter and fell right over the biggest plant trying to suck it out of the dirt
Got everything in place and secured it and hope it will survive
