Hi all. First post here on AFN. I'm growing out a Short Stuff Super Stinky and I heard the breeder hangs out here.

She's 5 weeks from seed today. Here are some highlights:

6iuap6ir

8 days

F7HhoanH

hEjbEl2R

15 days

cyFl9ueG

And this one is 28 days, last weekend. That one burnt tip is where I zapped her with a cfl.

LcE7N6Uk

And another from last weekend, in the led room. Those yellowing leaves in the corner are from a different plant that's in the harvest window.

I haven't taken pics yet this weekend, but she's bigger and fuller, with more tops than I can easily count. Still no pistils at 5 weeks, but from what I've read they should be coming soon.

Also, just in the past few days I've been noticing a little clawing so I just flushed with pH'd water this morning and I'm going to keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Welcome to AFN Gringo! :)

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome:

Nice looking grow you have going there! :)

Clawing down could possibly be a sign of too much Nitrogen - it's quite an easy one to fix, and if it is N tox, you may have noticed the leaves going slightly dark.

Looking forward to seeing your journal! hit us up if you need any help around the forums!

All the best

Hey, thanks for the warm welcomes! I'll update before tomorrow night with pics from this weekend. Hopefully by then I'll know if the flush accomplished anything. Thanks for the help offers too.. believe me, I'll need it.

Also, btw, I'm in 60/40 coco under a Mars II light, using GH bottle nutes. My most recent feeding was 6:9 micro/bloom with 5mL of CalMag and 2mL RapidStart.. that was about 5 days ago, before the claw and the flush.

Howdy Gringo, welcome aboard! Love your gal!

Weirdly, my account either went missing or I made a typo when I set my pw initially, because I can no longer get into my account, and the "lost password" option doesn't seem to work. :dunno:

Anyways, here are some today-pics... 36 days from seed.

There in that last pic you can see the clawing I was talking about. It's not affecting every leaf, and I think it's gotten a little better since I flushed yesterday, but it's still there... I wonder if it has to do with insufficient light coverage? Claw or no claw, she's still growing like a freaking manic. I can't believe the day-to-day difference.

Yikes! Does this look like calcium deficiency to you?

I did just flush it a couple days back and didn't restore calmag after.. I'm thinking that was a mistake?
(This is only my third grow btw)

Hey what's up.

One very important thing to remember....coco loves to pull out cal. I prefer cal and mag in separate bottles so as to give the plant cal when they need it and mag when they need it.

That said, yes looks like cal def to me. You can try a low dose 2-3 ml every feed and then adjust from there. My thoughts. Looking awesome too by the way.
