So a little more of an update because i am draggin ass.

So here is some color set coming in early. Now be warned there is some leaf damage..gasp...what?? i love beautiful pics as much as anyone, however there is a shitty side of breeding and that is inflicting damage on plants on purpose. However there is a reward, plants that will yield even after trauma and even better herb that wont hermi on you.

Now on to the good shit, ALF gives me the creeps...watching the black leaf creep in..

Overhead with it creeping in on the older leaf, and seeing younger leaf getting it too. Youll see her well into her fans here as well. She is on a simple diet mostly from the soil. pH is 6.5-6.8 temps are normal and no cold shock going on here. 68 at night 72 during the day.

Now on to some dick picks...

This male isnt much to look at but i saw 2 of them this round that were identical. I culled the first one as i had my eye on something else. Then i watched this one, something about it grabs my eye and to see 2 of them means something to me. So ill keep him to see what he is as well.

Yeah thats one thing to watch on these, i can see a lot of folks over feeding them during the change. Then in turn burning them, thats why i wanted the soil and the ferts to be as close to natural as possible. Thats why there is yellowing on the older black leaves, its pulling from them the top will color over in the next week or so, they get light green and shift.

How far into bud do you usually wait to pollinate? Is there too early to do it?

Im only using dry ferts these days, dont get monsters but get enough smoke, all that matters to me. I like not messing with ph, haven't in almost a year! I try not to ask too many questions but i can't help myself sometimes.

I like to wait till i get bud set, the clusters are forming and stretch is almost done. About week 4 or 4.5 depending on strain. I did an open pollination recently so i started sooner, that way i can get as many seed as i can off her.

That is earlier, kinda, than i thought! I hope my first male is decent and i have a good female to mix with just for an opportunity to see what happens. Doubt that I will get a chance to do much real breeding but a nice stash of reg seeds would be something id like to have on hand.

It really means a lot to me that you take the time to share. Sure am glad i found AFN.
