Well brudda, I'd say your careful selection using that Magic Eye, fine stock to work from, and some good Karma from your grows and breeding have come together to hit the bullseye ahead of schedule ...F2 will be a hoot to see! I know pheno stability is the goal here, but I can't help kinda rooting for that rare oddball throwback, just to see what surprises are still dangling in the closet! ..you're so far ahead of sched' on this, a little funky "black sheep" could shake something else fantastic out of the family tree, no?

Speaking of new goodies,... what's happening with the new acquisitions? Great choice on that Citrus Bomb, I understand some of the Black Dragons were very lemony,..so, the Goods are in there already to some extent! My understanding is that many of the older/landrace Indica hashplants were in fact, a bit raspy in their bud smoke,.. since hash was their end product, it didn't matter much at least to the locals and hash lovers worldwide... Now though, smoothness has it's place-
Mmmm, there's a wonderland of balanced hybrids and Sati-dom's that will have that uplifting buzz for you FD, without the jitters and head-trippin'.... but I think it's a trial and error deal for you and your bro',... I'd make particular note of the aromas, as I'm pretty sure much of the nature of a given buzz depends far more on the terps' type, quantity and synergistics, not the more obscure, rare cannabinoids (THCV, CBG, etc.,)-- though they play their part in synergistics! We all know taking bud early makes for more zippy buzz in general, so ripeness state is in the mix there too,... I wish I had some Lambsbread to share with you, maybe even this AG,... they have easy going Sati' highs, unlike some others like Vortex, Super Silver haze, Diesels, etc. that can be like a little hit of bad biker speed- ... I'm always looking for gentle Sati's, as Sniper suffers epic brainquakes from some Sativa-dom's,... he found Ice Cool to be very pleasant, and she has sweet citrus aromas, so there's that for potential breeding stock,.. I will keep a weather eye out for more fine candidates!

Here is the other mother, the sati leaning pheno. I have to cater to the people just because im an indica guy does not mean that i can grow the sati's.

She is making the conversion as we speak. Seems she is going to blacken up as well, i have to say that the black in the dragon and the know colors of the mother made a recessive trait dom. Just like in my son, I have brown eyes and my wife has blue. My grandmother has blue eyes, so my son has blue eyes. I carried the recessive trait and provided the genetic needs to give him blue eyes in a brown dom family.

The Father that was used from the dragon line was a male that had colored pollen sacs, the females from the same line had black leaf, purple/black bud, and resin production. We know that they green/white bud traits are dom in most cannabis and that the colors are not as common. So having those known traits adding them to a mother that had those genetics in her blood line brought them out in the children.

I think that this is why the black leaf trait is coming in on what i have over here. They look like a problem at first and then in a few days the color sets in around all the bud sites.

She does, has a hash smell to her for sure, there is no doubt of her blood line. Also has a burn to the nostrils when you squeeze the bud something i smelled in the DinaFem blue hash. Sweet and earthy is the tone on her. I cant wait to see what she has to offer.

IMO.........The Only way to Breed Cannabis is to Really get to Know one particular Line of cannabis Intimately..
Then..when you know her and everything the Line holds..try adding something to Improve her.

If you don't know what you have Got..how on earth do you expect to Improve her.

It is like buying a 6 gear Car..only using 4 gears then deciding to soup it up.......Why would you..everything you Desire might be under the hood already...

I agree 100% the point is to improve what you smoke, and change it as well as tailor it to your needs as well as have a line that is the greedy side of you. I have two i hunt. One that is color as well as high resin, and one that is indica based. every breeder wants that high THC % and would i love it yeah but that takes time and finding the right stock and children to make it happen.

You have to have a vision i believe, something that you are looking for and that you want to get to. Set goals for the plant high, color, resin production, yield, and then find the plant that meets them all. Thats the beauty of this really, taking something and blending it to customize or even blow peoples minds.

Once she is schopped the pics will be there my friend. Id say by the end of the week we should have some harvest pics and then some dry pics shortly after that.

I got very lucky with her, i have never seen anything like that in my room to have that come out on the F1 means that there was some sort of recessive meld in the genetic code. That is what i would say that brought it out. Now that its showing dom in a few different phenos that tells me that its going to pass through. I just hope the color that was on the male does that same thing. So im hoping to maybe see some colored buds on the F2 line.

Those will wait till later summer when the F2 cross is done and i am ready to run the F2 along side the citrus bombs. That way i can get the males up and out and then trigger flower on the found females. The dragons have 2 dom types a kush, hash insence smell and a lemon smell. The ALF [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] had both and i think when DC was introduced it split the mix. Makes sense as the DC has hashy back ground.

I have a sati pheno that i just posted that i know has a strong indica background in it. Im going to try it and see what it does for me. Find that hyb that gets me both of my needs. That body stone with energy

So the Bobbys Girl, I am looking for a specific pheno in them. There is one that is black leaf and super white with green bud. Given the recent F1 that I had with the same traits id love to find that or something similar in the Bobby and will also repro that seed.

The alf [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] is a hope for m/f and if so pure seed production to revive the line.
