Thanks man and it did for sure. That's why I wanted to share we don't see many males.Beautiful! That male gave you pleny of pollen, wow. Dont get to see many of those grow.
Hi my friendAnd here we have the first F2 seed from the ALF#5 line. These are the Coal Miners Daughter seeds and their parents...
I love this man, you have a goal/vision going into this, thats what makes breeding an art in my opinion. good shit man cant wait to see more!Natural color shot for those that are following. This ALF [HASHTAG]#5[/HASHTAG] phenotype/genotype will be Coal Miners Daughter.
I had an idea in my head on what i wanted her to be, once i set that name it had to be something that had black leaf or bud, resin production, and Kush triats and smell. Shes smells of pure sweet hash and her aroma is easy to pick up on without touching her buds. If you squeeze them its strong enough to tingle the nostrils. So, so lucky to get this expression on the F1. The mother below was mated with a male that was of the same structure and had black/deep purple pollen sacs. The f2 from this line should be interesting.
Clean normal light shot to show true color.
How long will the pollen be viable? Or will it be a one run use

i dont think most understand how breeders think. You have a goal in mind and you shoose the plants based on that goal. You search, and grow seed after seed after seed looking for something that gets you excited. This is what takes years of patience sometimes because genetics dont always express the way that you map it out. Things come out that you werent expecting and sometimes you never see it again, its there just not where you are. Then it happens, you write down a plan, get your hands on what you were looking for.
I'm in love with this plant! Some updated pics of the two mothers i have picked to pollinate this round. So far one is really identical to the mother plant, and the other is her daddy.
Big Female, that i am really eyeing and hoping for a decent male, none have made the cut so far.
Then the Dragon Dom little sister nested in the shade...
given the dragon dominance in this one i may leave her alone, unless she colors up on me
