I have a simple method of growing that has given me good results over the years. Thought I might share it with everyone. I am a disabled woman and it's hard to mix soil and dispose of soil etc.

I am using large plastic tubs with no holes, so my watering must be done carefully. I have three rubbermaid tubs that I split a gallon of water....everyday.

My soil never "rest". I replant the tubs as soon as I harvest. I leave most roots behind when I harvest.

I use very cheap ferts since I live on disability. I have found epsoma products to be cheap and effective.

The soil in my tubs is 7 years old...with no rest or sturing...just chop and replant. I am going to rock that same soil as long as possible.

Right now I have some auto hindu kush and jems going.

Thanks for stopping by!

dykster, please, if it's not too much trouble, document this grow well.

IMHO, there is a real need for inexpensive, successful grow methods, that are simple enough for the inexperienced to perform. From the pics, anyone can see it works... very nice group of ladies. I look forward to following along. :peace:

Im very interested as well... having back problems, so the less the mess the better.

Very cool, dykster. I love to see someone going against the conventional wisdom and getting great results.

Hey Dykster..I hear ya....KISS works ! Being a retired disabled person, (how the hell does one retire from diability???LOL)...I, too, pinch the pennies and try to get all I can outta what I spend on my little hobby. I salute you for adaptations made to accomodate your need for weed + the little hobby keeps ya mind busy!

Very nice easy setup! I know a few people that could use this method to allow them to grow, while at the moment they are incapable of heavy lifting and/or walking....

Here is an example of the BlueStreak I grew in an old tub of dirt. I really like BS. It's fast, done in 8 weeks and strong medication.

Looks good! I'll have to try some sometime, roster is full right now with a breeding project...

:cool:Cool, I have a throw and grow type set up like that to. I use miricle grow soil (yeah for realz dont mock me!) and 2galloon pots (gratually increasing pot size as i get more comfortable growing) with LED UFOs (ill upgrade when i get more educated). I put the seed in and come back to water. Lights are nice and safe for me being LED. :). I had to start it KISS or id have never had been able to maintain it. My set up has had no issues with any short stuff seeds or joint doc seeds, thats all ive tried right now since they were so successful i havent ventured to other seed companies much yet.

Its also way cool to see another woman in here, we should start a group!
